Job Title: Project Engineer (One Year Contract)

Job Description
- The Project Engineer is responsible for the complete administration and organization of the construction and field personnel and directs the field effort through the activities of his staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead a team of civil and HSE supervisors
- Generation of project cost/resource estimates.
- Actively monitors productivity on site
- Ability to effectively work on more than one project at a time.
- Lead a team helping to manage the site area in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Forecasting construction timeline
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Carry out regular inspections and monitoring.
- Weekly update on the work program.
- Helping co-ordinate quality control, assurance of deliverables
- Computing records for site reports.
- Schedule site management meetings with all stakeholders.
- Carrying out daily site inspections.
Qualifications
- First Degree in Civil Engineering is compulsory
- Additional qualification is an added advantage
- Minimum of 7 years of post-graduate Nigerian experience in road and bridge infrastructure projects.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation, and schedules
- Knowledge of project management software
- Solid organization and time-management skills
- Team player.
