Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced baker to create recipes, order ingredients, coordinate baking activities to prepare varieties of bakery product.
Responsibilities
- Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
- Create recipe, bake and decorate varieties of bakery products.
- Manage needed supplies and inventory.
- Make requisition when necessary.
- Ensure a tidy environment according to organization standard.
- Shape dough to prepare different types of bakery products.
- Track supplies, place orders and document accurately.
- Measuring and combining ingredients to make baked products.
Qualifications / Experience
- SSCE, OND, HND
- Minimum of 1 years experience needed.
Skills / Abilities:
- Previous experience as a baker.
- Must be detail-oriented with ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent planning skills with ability to work around customer needs.
- Track record of problem solving skills.
- Efficient documentation.
- Understanding of food safety practices.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification is an added advantage.
