We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Halal Investment

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time


  • Analysis of the investment industry and trends that could impact the investment portfolio or
  • organization’s funding strategies.
  • Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business.
  • Liaise with related departments and counterparties within and outside the group for seamless transaction processing.
  • Create new businesses and relationships according to set target
  • Maintain relationship with existing clients.
  • Understanding of commercial trends and marketing strategies.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
  • Increase the revenue of the firm from the new businesses generated.
  • Be a good team player and add value to the team.
  • Reviewing clients’ feedback and implementing necessary changes.
  • Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Manager on strategies to improve return on Halal Products and Funds.
  • Working with seniorteam members to identify and manage company risks that might prevent growth


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 – 8 years experience in non-interest banking/investment sales
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze present data.
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work well in a team and on own initiative.
  • Extensive sales experience.
  • Great networking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic and with sound decision-making skills.
