Job Title: Social Media and PR Manager

Location: Remote

About the Role

  • Reporting to the Director of Communications, you’ll join a social media coordinator on our small but mighty team.
  • We love our talent community and our clients and our social media channels give us direct access to them.
  • We strive to delight them during every interaction they have with Andela and in this critical role, you’ll be our first line contact so it will be your job to help ensure that happens.
  • You’ll collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator to create new relationships and grow the social community by managing all incoming questions about Andela, routing support requests, and actively engaging with brand mentions and relevant conversations across the social landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Online community management (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Linkedin, Twitter and others) in English.
  • Review social listening reports and look for opportunities for engagement, replies or support.
  • Collaborate across the business with SMEs to provide accurate responses and solutions to social media enquiries.
  • Assist in identifying and selecting influencers.
  • Partner with the employer brand, client, community, and delivery teams to improve our overall response strategy for addressing comments and enquiries.
  • Provide recommendations for content development or changes to existing processes based on social media response reports and feedback.
  • Monitor social media response analytics daily and ensure consistent, ongoing benchmarking and analysis of performance including data-driven recommendations to improve future success.

Requirements

  • Native, C1, or C2 level of English required. You will need a strong command of the English language in order to be successful in this role.
  • A minimum of 2 years or proven equivalent experience working in social media account management
  • Strong preference for those located in GMT to GMT+3 timezones.
  • Ability to communicate with Andela’s core demographic in an authentic manner. Ideally, you have worked with developer and technology audiences.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving team environment, utilizing interpersonal skills to manage relationships
  • Ability to manage workflows involving multiple teams to ensure responses are provided in a timely manner and any necessary escalations are executed.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with enterprise social media management tools like Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Salesforce, or Hootsuite.
  • Passion for social media, technology, and the online space with strong working knowledge of current trends.
