Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following academic positions:

A. FACULTY OF ARTS

1. Department of Linguistics and African Languages

a. Assistant Lecturer: Linguistics – Syntax – Candidates must possess Master’s degree in Linguistics with specialization in Syntax and must have registered for Ph.D. programme in Syntax plus good knowledge of Functional Grammar.

b. Assistant Lecturer: Yoruba Language – Phonology – Candidates must possess Master’s degree in Yoruba Language or Master’s degree in Linguistics with specialization in Phonology and must have registered for Ph.D. programme in Phonology plus good knowledge of Yoruba Phonology.

2. Department of Music

a. Assistant Lecturer: Composition or Ethnomusicology or Music Education – Applicants must possess Master’s Degree in Music. Evidence of registration for Ph.D. Degree Programme will be an added advantage.

b. Lecturer II: Music Technology – Applicants must possess Master’s Degree in Music. Applicants must be able to demonstrate effective capability in Digital Music Technology and practical knowledge in studio and live reinforcement systems. Applicants must show evidence of registration for the Ph.D. Degree Programme in Music.

3. Department of Philosophy

a. Assistant Lecturer: (i) Philosophy of Science, (ii) Logic and (iii) Metaphysics – Applicants must possess the Bachelor of Arts (B.A), the Master of Arts (M.A) degrees in Philosophy from a recognized university.

b. Lecturer II: (i) Ethics and (ii) Continental Philosophy – Applicants must possess the: Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Master of Arts (M.A) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degrees in Philosophy from a recognized university.

4. Department of English

a. Assistant Lecturer (Literature in English): Dramatic Literature/African Literature/Postcolonial Literature – Applicants must possess Bachelor of Arts (B.A) and Master of Arts (M.A) Degrees in the field of Literature in English from reputable universities and must have registered for a Ph.D. programme.

b. Lecturer II (Literature in English): English Literature/Comparative Literature/Oral Literature -Applicants must possess Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Master of Arts (M.A) and Ph.D. Degrees in the field of Literature in English from reputable universities. Previous teaching experience at the University level and evidence of scholarly publication(s) in peer-reviewed journals will be an advantage.

c. Lecturer II (Language): English Syntax (Transformational Generative Grammar, TGG) – Applicants must possess Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Master of Arts (M.A) and Ph.D. Degrees in the field of English Language from reputable universities. Previous teaching experience at the University level and evidence of scholarly publication(s) in peer-reviewed journals.

5. Department of Theatre Arts

a. Assistant Lecturer (Educational Theatre): Theatre for Development, Creative Dramatics and Children’s Theatre. Applicants must possess Master of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts, obtained from a recognized University. Applicants must also have registered for a Ph.D. Degree. Evidence of previous work with children in creative arts at reputable schools for a minimum of two years and cognate experience in Theatre for Development (TfD) will be an added advantage.

b. Assistant Lecturer (Media and Theatre Management): Broadcast and Print Media, Film Production and Management, Theatre and Event Management – Applicants must possess Master of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts from a recognized University. Applicants must also have registered for the Ph.D. Degree. Evidence of previous work in Film or other broadcast media productions, competence in at least two of the following technical areas; Graphics, Editing, Cinematography, Set, Light and Sound Design. Evidence of Management of Theatre and Event Projects and a minimum of two years of teaching experience in any recognized university will be an added advantage.

c. Lecturer II (Costume, Make-Up): Make-Up, Costume and Fashion Design-Applicants must be Ph.D. holders with at least two years post qualification experience in a recognized University and have demonstrable competence in the teaching of Costume and fashion design, Make-Up and Special Effects. Evidence of at least three years of teaching and practice experience in the field of Costume, Make-Up and Special Effects will be an added advantage.

6. Department of European Studies

a. Lecturer II: FRENCH – Applicants must have Ph.D. in Translation Studies and evidence of publications in learned journals. Teaching experience in a reputable University in French language and Translation.

b. Assistant Lecturer: GERMAN – Applicants must possess Master’s degree in German Studies and must be able to teach German language, culture and civilization. Evidence of registration for M.Phil./Ph.D. or Ph.D. Degree is required.

c. Assistant Lecturer: RUSSIAN – Applicants must possess Master’s degree in Russian Studies or European Studies and must be able to teach Russian language, culture and civilization. Evidence of registration for M.Phil./Ph.D. or Ph.D. in any reputable University is an advantage.

7. Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies

a. Assistant Lecturer: Applicants must have Master’s Degree in Islamic Studies with specialization in Islamic Law with bias in inheritance and marital issues with evidence of Ph.D. Degree registration.

8. Department of Religious Studies

a. Assistant Lecturer: Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in Traditional Religion or Comparative Religion. Candidates must also provide evidence of registration for Ph.D. in a recognized University.

b. Lecturer II: Candidates must possess Ph.D. in Traditional Religion or Comparative Religions. Publications in reputable outlets can be an added advantage.

B. FACULTY OF SCIENCE

1. Department of Microbiology

a. Assistant Lecturer: Candidates must possess Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division in Microbiology from a recognized University; Master of Science in Microbiology with bias for Environmental Microbiology. Candidates must be willing to further engage in Pathogenic aspect of Microbiology research. Minimum of two years experience in teaching at a tertiary institution will be an added advantage.

b. Lecturer II: Applicants must possess Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Ph.D. Degrees in Microbiology. Candidates will be expected to specialize in indigenous product development with bias towards serial fermentation and the physiology of attending microorganisms. Evidence of research and teaching experience at the University level will be an added advantage.

2. Department of Geology

a. Assistant Lecturer: Exploration Geophysics – Applicants should possess good first degree in Geology and M.Sc. degree in Exploration Geophysics from a recognized University and currently pursuing a Ph.D. programme in the relevant field of specialization. Possession of a Ph.D. degree will be an added advantage.

b. Lecturer II: Biostratigraphy – Applicants should possess good first degree in Geology and M.Sc. degree in Biostratigraphy from a recognized University and must possess a Ph.D. degree.

3. Department of Botany

a. Assistant Lecturer: Plant Genetics and Molecular Biology -Applicants must possess Master of Science degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology with bias in Cytogenetic from a reputable University with minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) B.Sc. (Botany) Degree. Registration for a Ph.D. programme is required.

b. Assistant Lecturer: Lower Green Plants –Applicants must possess B.Sc. degree in Botany with at least Second Class (Lower Division). Applicants must also possess a Master of Science degree in Botany with bias in Lower Green Plants from a reputable University. Registration for a Ph.D. programme is required.

4. Department of Chemistry

a. Reader/Professor: Industrial Chemistry/Chemical Engineering -Applicants should possess Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Ph.D. Degrees in Chemistry with specialization in Industrial Chemistry; or the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Applicants should also have a minimum of 9 years (for Readership) or 10 years (for Professorship) post Ph.D. teaching experience at the university level and must have published considerably in reputable scholarly journals.

b. Lecturer II: Organic Chemistry -Applicants should possess Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Ph.D. Degrees in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry. Teaching experience at the University level and possession of scholarly publications will be added advantages.

c. Assistant Lecturer: Industrial Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry -Applicants should possess Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Chemistry with specialization in any of the indicated areas. Applicants must be currently registered for Ph.D. programme.

5. Department of Zoology

a. Assistant Lecturer: Cell Biology and Genetics -Applicants must possess B.Sc. Zoology/Biology and research-based M.Sc. Zoology (Cell Biology and Genetics) from a reputable University. Applicants must have evidence of having reached an advanced stage of completing a Ph.D. programme.

b. Assistant Lecturer: Parasitology -Applicants must possess B.Sc. Zoology/Biology and research-based M.Sc. Zoology (Parasitology) from a reputable University. Applicants must have evidence of having reached an advanced stage of completing a Ph.D. programme.

6. Department of Archaeology and Anthropology

a. Assistant Lecturer: Archaeology – Applicants must possess the Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Archaeology, with specialization in Environmental Archaeology/Lithic Archaeology/Historical Archaeology/Forensic Science.

b. Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer II: Anthropology – Applicants for the position of Assistant Lecturer must possess the Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Anthropology. Candidates for the position of Lecturer II must possess the Ph.D. degree in Anthropology, with specialization in Physical Anthropology & Genetics or Cultural Anthropology.

7. Department of Statistics

a. Assistant Lecturer: Computational Statistics -Applicants must possess Bachelor (minimum Second Class (Lower Division) and Master of Science Degrees in Statistics. Such applicants must be running Ph.D. programme in Statistics.

b. Assistant Lecturer: Environmental Statistics -Applicants must possess Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class (Lower Division) and Master of Science (Environmental Statistics Option) Degree in Statistics. Applicants must be running Ph.D. programme in Statistics with specialization in Environmental Statistics.

8. Department of Mathematics

a. Assistant Lecturer: Applicants must have good M.Sc. Degree in any area of Mathematics from any reputable University. Applicants must show evidence of registration for Ph.D. Degree Programme in Mathematics.

b. Lecturer II: Applicants must be fresh Ph.D. holders in any area of Mathematics or M.Sc. degree holders with evidence of registration for a Ph.D. Degree Programme in Mathematics and three years teaching experience in a reputable University.

9. Department of Physics

a. Assistant Lecturer: Radiation and Health Physics/Theoretical Physics – Applicants must possess Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Physics. A Ph.D. degree candidature in Radiation and Health Physics or in Theoretical Physics will be an advantage.

b. Lecturer II: Radiation and Health Physics/Theoretical Physics – Applicants must possess Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Physics. Applicants must have at least three (3) years of teaching and research experience at the University level and Ph.D. Degree in Radiation and Health Physics or in Theoretical Physics.

C. FACULTY OF BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES

1. Department of Virology

a. Lecturer I: Applicants must possess first degree in any of the biological or medical sciences (MB;BS, BDS, B. Pharm, DVM, B.Sc.) from the University of Ibadan or other reputable universities. In addition, applicants must possess M.Sc. degree and Ph.D. degree in Virology with specialization in Molecular Virology, Respiratory viruses, Oncovirology, and Zoonoses. Applicants must possess at least three years of teaching and research experience at the University Level.

b. Lecturer II: Applicants must possess first degree in any of the biological or medical sciences (MB;BS, BDS, B. Pharm, DVM, B.Sc.). They must also possess Master’s degree in Virology or Entomology or Molecular Biology and currently registered for Ph.D. programme in Virology. Publications in reputable journals and field experience will be of advantage.

2. Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics

Lecturer II/I: Clinical Trials and Pharmaco-epidemiology -Applicants must possess MB;BS or its equivalent and Ph.D. (Clinical Pharmacology) Degrees from a recognized University or MB;BS with Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCP) in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics with, at least, a Master of Science Degree in relevant area(s).

3. Department of Biochemistry

a. Lecturer II: Membrane Biochemistry and Biotechnology –Applicants must possess good Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in Biochemistry, and Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry. Applicants must have adequate publications in the field of Membrane Biochemistry and Biotechnology and at least one (1) year teaching experience at the University level will be an added advantage.

b. Lecturer I: Nutritional and Industrial Biochemistry –Applicants must possess good Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in Biochemistry, and Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry. Applicants must have evidence of adequate publications in the field of Nutritional and Industrial Biochemistry and at least three (3) years teaching experience at the University level.

4. Department of Biomedical Laboratory Sciences

a. Lecturer II: Medical Microbiology/Chemical Pathology –Applicants must have Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS), Master of Science degree (M.Sc.) in Medical Microbiology or Chemical Pathology and must show evidence of almost completing Ph.D. in either of the above fields. Candidates must show evidence of scholarship through publication in peer reviewed journals.

b. Lecturer I: Medical Microbiology or Chemical Pathology –Applicants must have Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) and Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Medical Microbiology or Chemical Pathology. Candidates must show evidence of scholarship through adequate number of publications in peer reviewed journals.

Evidence of registration/up-to-date licensure by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) and relevant cognate experience apply to both positions.

5. Department of Anatomy

a. Lecturer II: Applicants must possess MB;BS or BDS Degree which should be registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Applicants must have Master’s degree in Anatomy or Membership of any of the Postgraduate Medical Colleges.

b. Lecturer I: Applicants must possess MB;BS or BDS registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Applicants must have Ph.D. degree in Anatomy or Fellowship of any of the Postgraduate Medical Colleges.

D. FACULTY OF DENTISTRY

1. Department of Child Oral Health

Lecturer I: Orthodontist and Paediatric Dentist – Applicants must possess Basic Dental Degree registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. All applicants must have the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons or the National Postgraduate Medical College in Orthodontics or Paediatric Dentistry. An M.Sc., a Ph.D. or Post Fellowship qualification/experience and academic publication in learned journals will be added advantages.

2. Department of Restorative Dentistry

a. Lecturer I: Prosthetics Dentistry – Applicants must possess basic dental degree, e.g., BDS. Candidates must have passed part II Fellowship Examination of the West African College of Surgeons or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in Restorative Dentistry (Prosthodontics). Applicants must also be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

b. Lecturer I: Conservative Dentistry – Applicants must possess basic dental degree, e.g., BDS. Candidates must have passed part II Fellowship Examination of the West African College of Surgeons or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in Restorative Dentistry (Conservative). Applicants must also be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

3. Department of Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine

Lecturer I: Oral Medicine/Oral Pathology – Applicants must possess basic Dental Degree registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. All applicants must have Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons or the National Postgraduate Medical College. An M.SC., a Ph.D. or Post Fellowship qualification/experience and academic publications in learned journals will be added advantages.

E. FACULTY OF CLINICAL SCIENCES

1. Department of Community Medicine

Lecturer I: Clinical Epidemiology – Candidates should hold the Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College or the West African College of Physicians in Community Health and Master’s degree in Global Health will be an added advantage. Applicants must have evidence of reasonable work experience in disease control settings with relevant global health collaborations

2. Department of Surgery

Lecturer I: General Surgery/Orthopaedics & Trauma Surgery – Applicants must possess first degree in Medicine (MB;BS/MB;CHB) registerable with the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council. Postgraduate professional training and a Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons or the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in Surgery or equitable specialist certification plus 3 years of clinical practice in the relevant specialty.

3. Department of Psychiatry

Lecturer 1: Applicants must possess first degree in Medicine and Surgery registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MB;BS, MB;CHB or equivalent). Candidates must show a flair for research as attested to by publications in scientific journals or possession of higher academic degrees.

4. Department of Paediatrics

Lecturer I: Haematology/Oncology and Endocrinology -Applicants must possess the Basic Medical Degree from a reputable University and registerable with the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council. Fellowships of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African College of Physicians or Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria registerable equivalent.

5. Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Lecturer I: Candidates should possess registerable medical qualification with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). In addition, applicants must possess the Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FMCOG) or the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). Postgraduate academic qualification, published evidence of research and teaching experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology will be advantages.

6. Department of Nursing

a. Lecturer II: Applicants must possessM.Sc. degree in Nursing, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, a Ph.D. degree or evidence of registration for a Ph.D. in Nursing. Adequate professional experience in university teaching and research experience of at least one year and evidence of research activities and publications

b. Clinical Instructors: Applicants must possess First Degree in Nursing and must have registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. M.Sc. degree and evidence of research activities and publication will be an added advantage

7. Department of Anaesthesia

Lecturer I: Applicants must possess Basic Medical Degree registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and Fellowships of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in Anaesthesia (FMCA). Evidence of publications in the area of Anaesthesia, Pain management or critical care and at least 3 years relevant teaching experience.

8. Institute of Child Health

Research Fellow II: Non-Medical -Applicants must possess Master of Science degree in Cell Biology, Genetics or related fields and Ph.D. or registered for Ph.D. programme in the aforementioned fields of study. An M.Sc. degree in Public Health Biotechnology will be an added advantage.

9. Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases

Research Fellow I: Applicants must possess a first degree in Medicine and Surgery registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MB;BS, MB;CHB); a Postgraduate qualification in Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Anaesthesia and Laboratory Medicine of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West Africa College of Physicians or Surgeons or Laboratory Medicine in the relevant specialty or equivalent registerable qualification.

F. FACULTY OF PUBLIC HEALTH

1. Department of Health Promotion and Education

Lecturer II: Applicants must possess good Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Health Sciences or Medicine and Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Promotion and Education or Population and Reproductive Health Education. A Ph.D. degree in Health Promotion and Education or Population and Reproductive Health Education or evidence of registration for a Ph.D. degree programme in Health Promotion and Education or Population and Reproductive Health Education will also be an added advantage.

2. Department of Environmental Health Sciences

a. Lecturer I: Environmental Toxicology -Applicants must possess good Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines. In addition, applicants must hold Ph.D. Degree in Environmental Health Sciences (or relevant disciplines) in the area of the required specialization. Applicants must have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level. Evidence of publications in reputable journals is also required.

b. Lecturer II: Environmental Health Sciences -Applicants must possess Bachelor and MPH degrees in Environmental Health Sciences, with a minimum of two years post MPH qualification experience. In addition, candidates should have evidence of current registration for the Ph.D. degree programme in Environmental Health Sciences or possess Ph.D. in Environmental Health Sciences. Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and membership of relevant professional bodies will be added advantages.

G. FACULTY OF EDUCATION

1. Department of Early Childhood and Educational Foundations

Assistant Lecturer: Applicants must possess Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education. Applicants must produce evidence of Ph.D. Registration in Early Childhood Education. Cognate teaching experience and evidence of scholarly publications will be added advantages.

2. Department of Counselling and Human Development Studies

a. Lecturer II: Educational/Counselling/Psychology – Applicants must possess Ph.D. degree in the field of Educational/Counselling Psychology. Previous teaching experience at the University level is required. Evidence of scholarly publication(s) in peer reviewed journals on educational and counselling interventions, world of work and youth unemployment will be an added advantage.

b. Assistant Lecturer: Developmental Psychology – Applicants must possess Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Educational/Youth and Adolescent Psychology. Candidates must also have registered for Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology.

3. Centre for Literacy Training and Development Programme for Africa (CLTDPA)

Assistant Lecturer: Adult Literacy, Mobile Learning and Training – Applicants must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education, Master’s Degree in Literacy, Training and Development (with bias for the use of mobile applications for adult learning) and an evidence of Ph.D. registration in Adult Literacy (with bias for capacity building and mobile applications).

4. Department of Adult Education

Assistant Lecturer: Economics of Adult Education – Applicants must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education and Economics, Master’s Degree in Adult Education and an evidence of Ph.D. registration in related areas of Economics of Adult Education (with bias for Manpower/Personnel studies), in a reputable university.

5. Department of Science and Technology Education

a. Assistant Lecturer: Biology Education – Applicants must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Education/B.Sc. Biology plus a P.G.D.E in Biology Education and a Master of Education Degree in Science Education/M.Sc. with P.G.D.E. Applicants with evidence of registration for the Ph.D. programme in Science Education (Biology) will stand better chances.

b. Assistant Lecturer: Educational Technology – Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/B.Sc. Computer Science Education plus P.G.D.E in Educational Technology and Master of Education Degree in Educational Technology/MSc with P.G.D.E. Applicants with evidence of registration for the Ph.D. programme in Educational Technology (Computer Science) will stand better chances.

6. Department of Special Education

Assistant Lecturer: Speech Pathology/Audiology – Applicants should possess B.Ed. and M.Ed. with Ph.D. grade in Special Education, with specialization in Speech/Language Pathology. Applicants should have requisite skills in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of persons with speech and language disorders. Evidence of Ph.D. registration, current professional/provisional clinical license of the Medical Rehabilitation (Registration) Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTBN) and scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals will be added advantages.

7. Department of Health Education

a. Lecturer II: Applicants must possess good first degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and Ph.D. with specialization in Health Education.

b. Assistant Lecturer: Applicants must possess good first degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and Master’s degree with evidence of Ph.D. registration in Health Education.

8. Department of Human Kinetics

Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer II: Physiology of Exercise – Applicants must possess good First Degree at least, Second Class Honours (Upper Division) majoring in Human Kinetics and Health Education or Physical and Health Education. A Master’s Degree with evidence of Ph.D. registration for the Assistant Lecturer and Ph.D. Degree (for the Lecturer II) in Human Kinetics, with specialization in Exercise Physiology.

9. Department of Social Work

Assistant Lecturer: Candidates must possess good first degree. An academic Master’s Degree in Social Work or MSW plus an academic Master’s degree in related discipline is compulsory and must be from a recognized university. Applicants must be on a Ph.D. programme with bias in Community/Rural Social Work. Registration with the Nigerian Association of Social Workers (NASoW) will be an added advantage.

10. Department of Arts and Social Sciences Education

a. Assistant Lecturer: Language Education – Candidates must possess B.Ed. or B.A.Ed. (Hons.) degree in Yoruba/English with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division. Candidates must also hold M.Ed. Degree in Language Education and must provide proven evidence of enrollment in a Ph.D. Programme in Language Education.

b. Lecturer II: Language Education – Applicants must possess B.Ed. or B.A.Ed. (Hons.) in English with minimum of Second Class Lower Division. Candidates must also hold M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Language Education.

H. FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE

1. Department of Soil Resources Management

Distinction in M.Sc. result will be of advantage with evidence of registration for Ph.D. The prospective candidate must be registerable with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Q. SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

a. Lecturer II: Marketing – Applicants must specialize in any two (2) areas of marketing which must be reflected in the curriculum vitae and must possess Ph.D. in marketing. Applicants must have at least two (2) articles in a highly recognized journal. Certificate of proficiency in Enterprise System Development (SAP) will be an added advantage.

b. Lecturer II: Management Sciences -Applicants must have Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Agricultural Economics and Business Management. Applicants must have at least two (2) articles in a highly recognized journal.

Candidates will have added advantage having; (a) MBA in Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Human Resources Management, Agri-Business and Data Science or Business Analytics.(b) Professional Qualifications as ICAN, CIBN and other recognized Professional Qualifications for both positions.

R. INSTITUTE OF AFRICAN STUDIES

a. Research Fellow I: African Law -Applicants must possess a doctoral degree in Law and in the Humanities, broadly defined. They must have three (3) years’ teaching experience in a recognized University or comparable experience. They must have evidence of international research and scholarship with publications in reputable journals as well as experience in transformation fieldwork.

b. Research Fellow II: African Music – Applicants must possess Doctoral degree in Music/African Music/Ethnomusicology. They must have at least three (3) years teaching experience in a recognized University or comparable experience. They must have evidence of research and scholarship with publications in reputable journals.
