We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

General Responsibilities

  • Assist with the operation of a modern warehouse including ordering, receiving, stocking, processing, and distribution of materials. the Assistant Warehouse Officer will take on the responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
  • Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
  • Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
  • Operating and managing technical equipment.
  • Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  • Adhering to safety management standards.
  • Adhering to production schedules.

The Person

  • OND is required for this role.
  • 2 to 5 years of proven working experience.
  • Valid fork-lifting certificate
  • Highly coordinated and organized
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Proficiency in operating technical machinery.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Experience and knowledge of provincial health and safety standards
  • Must be residing or willing to relocate to Anambra State
