NoemDek Limited is an EPC Company incorporated in Nigeria in 2012, to provide specialized services to the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, FMCGs, etc. Over the past five years, the firm and its international partners have supported clients on large infrastructure projects and after-sales services to ensure the assets are maintained effectively and a client’s operations run smoothly.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Intern – Bidding and Sourcing

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking to hire a young passionate and intelligent Operations Intern to join the Operations Team at NoemDek.
  • The candidate must be intelligent, willing, intentional about growth and open to learning.

Responsibilities

  • Source materials and services needed for operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier pricing, quality, and timeliness of delivery.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for the best prices and terms.
  • Track and monitor supplier performance.
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials and services to the appropriate location.
  • Conduct market research to identify new potential clients and competitors
  • Help prepare bid proposals and tenders, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Analyze and interpret data to support bidding decisions
  • Assist in creating presentations and reports for clients
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather necessary information for bid proposals
  • Support the bidding team in other tasks as required.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • 0-1 year of experience in bidding and sourcing activities.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
