Job Title: Marketing Officer/Sales Representative
Location: Lagos

Position Summary

  • Responsible for effectively selling diesel and gas powered generator sets and heavy duty equipment for the industrial and construction sectors
  • Candidate will also be charged with the responsibility of securing service and maintenance contracts from clients.

Essential Functions

  • Developing new markets & new area of business growth looking for business opportunities with prospective partners.
  • Assist in marketing and sale of new products and/or prototypes to the existing marketplace.
  • Follow up with customers and get SLA contract signed
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and confidence
  • Executing these activities to achieve the market share objective.
  • Continuous Coordination Implementing business plan.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Engineering, Marketing, Social Sciences or any relevant field is required
  • Not less than 5 year(s) work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
  • Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
  • Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.

Job Title: Marketing Team Lead
Location
: Lagos

Position Summary

  • The Marketing Team Lead will manage the day to day marketing/ sales activities of the company and executing the long-term marketing strategy for the company.
  • He/She will lead a team and also be responsible for effectively selling diesel- and gas-powered generator sets and heavy duty equipment for the Construction Industry.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department.
  • Generate new customer accounts as well as service and maintain existing accounts. Analyze customer needs and interests and determine how company products and services can best meet their needs.
  • Secure diesel generator service and maintenance contracts from clients.
  • Recommend and sell manufactured generator sets, accessories and related equipment utilizing knowledge of power generation equipment.
  • Achieve sales goals and forecasts, as established by the department and the organization.
  • Review completed jobs for variations in component costing.
  • Interface with other departments, including engineering, manufacturing, production, purchasing and accounting, to oversee project development and ensure timely delivery of finished products.
  • Monitors sales orders to ensure project costs, materials lists and delivery schedules meet project specifications and deadlines.
  • Compute installation or production costs, and prepare and submit bid specifications to existing and potential customers for review. Negotiate proposals and sales and service contracts with customers.
  • Establish, maintain and develop business, social and networking relationships with individuals within the power generation industry in order to generate and maintain a positive business image for the organization within the industry.
  • Plan and organize sales strategy.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems, issues or complaints.
  • Attend sales and trade meetings and reads related publications to obtain current market condition information, business trends, and industry developments.
  • Demonstrate and explain use of installed equipment and production processes.
  • Provide management oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, market situation, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services.
  • Conduct all business transactions in an ethical manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration/management or related fields.
  • Not less than 8 years working experience in the power industry.
  • Ability to lead and communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.

Job Title: Assistant Account/Finance Officer
Location:
 Lagos

Position Summary

  • Supporting the accountant department, performs general accounting support, posting into the accounting system. Completes daily revenue, cash reconciliations.

Essential Functions

  • Assists account manager with month end close process ensuring all entries are posted timely and accurately to facilitate the month end reporting deadlines.
  • Assist with reconciling of all bank statements and departmental records.
  • Assist with ensuring all accounting processes are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assists with special projects as required.
  • Also acts as back up for other finance roles as needed, such as completing daily flash reporting, issuing invoices, processing PO’s, assisting with daily voucher reconciliation process.

Other skills essential for the role are:

  • Ability to highlight problems and come up with a selection of viable options to discuss best solution
  • Ability to demonstrate confidence to liaise directly with stakeholders and when to seek advice from Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • Not less than 2 year(s) work experience.
  • Good Knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Ability to use QuickBooks software or sage 50
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft excel and word
  • Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
