Job Title: Farm Supervisor (Piggery & Tomato Crops Production Division)

Location: Ijebu-Isiwo, Epe, Ogun State

Job Description

  • We are currently in search of a Farm Supervisor with a deep understanding of agronomy and livestock management to join our team. This role demands extensive oversight and an acute awareness of sound agronomy management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive supervision of daily operations within the piggery and tomato crops division, ensuring high standards of animal welfare and crop production.
  • Implement and oversee compliance with all farm policies, procedures, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Farm Manager to develop and execute strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
  • Lead, manage, and train farm workers, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and excellence.
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of farm infrastructure and machinery.
  • Maintain meticulous records of farming activities, including inventory management, production statistics, and health records of livestock.
  • Utilize your expertise in agronomy to improve farm practices, increase yield, and ensure the health of both crops and livestock.
  • Regularly analyze farm operations and report to the Farm Manager, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in farm management, particularly in piggery and crop production.
  • A strong leader with the ability to supervise a diverse team effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of agronomy, animal husbandry, and sustainable farming practices.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and work schedules.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree in Agriculture or a related field is highly regarded but not essential.
