Job description

Head, Facilities Management-

The Head of Facilities Management will provide Troloppe Property Services with a superior level of expertise in the area of facilities management. The purpose of this position is to serve as a primary contact for delivery of facilities management services.  


    Review contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with vendors, consultants, clients suppliers and sub contractors.
    Interprete and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients, representing the owner or developer
    Plan, organise, and direct activities concerned with the maintenance of structures, facilites and systems
    Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports
    Develop and implement quality control programmes
    Inspect and review projects ro monitor complieance with building and safety codes, and othe regulations
    Experience in managing utility systems
    Prior equipment specifying and purchasing experience preffered
    Coach and councel Troloppe Facilities management staff to reflect our service standards and procedures.
    Ensure customers inhabiting managed facilities live ina quality environment and that service level agreements are agreed and met in full to customers satisfaction.

The office is set up in a modern work space in a high profile building in Lagos, all the tools required are provided, including office equipment, office admin costs and each department is provided with a car.  The remuneration structure is based on a profit sharing after reasonable operational costs have been deducted from your specific department.

Desired Skills and Experience

    Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socieeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds
    At least 6 years experience in a senior role with in facility management
    Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
    Proven leadership skills
    Engineering/Facility management degree preferred
    Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
