POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Position required to perform complex naming, testing, and debugging of applications; Required to determine procedures, and other documentation needed for installation and maintenance of application programs

• Work with customers to add new or custom features to software products; Develop and maintain working relationships with key persons on the client engagement, to ensure the client’s needs are met in a professional manner

• Conduct testing on NCR suite of retail products in preparation for product release to customers; Employ software testing methodologies consistent with the requirements of the system development life cycle; Responsible for performing unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, functional testing, client acceptance testing, user interface testing using the plans, tools, and scripts developed

• Facilitate the development team through diagnosis, problem recreation and prioritization

• Issue tracking and communication is expected through generation of reports, as well as status of testing coverage for assigned software projects

• Interface between plant and customer to introduce new products, and manage pilots to achieve final acceptance in anticipation of a rollout

• Participate in the drafting of instructions for the support and installation of NCR hardware and NCR application software for the rollout

• Provide sales support for a full spectrum of retail products, with a primary focus on Self Service devices

• Ensure projects are completed on-time, within budget, and within customer expectations of quality and functionality

• Prepare and maintain a detailed project schedule and play a lead role in scoping, planning, costing, and pricing projects; Responsible for statement of work development and risk assessment

• Responsible for coordinate the establishment of a project environment that includes preparing and maintaining a roles/responsibility matrix, personnel plan and resource schedule for each project member

• Measure, track, evaluate and communicate progress against the Project schedule using project reports including project financials and project reporting compliance

• Ensure monthly billings and manage procurement and payment of contractors

• Completes project tasks; Escalates assignment conflicts and issues

• Conducts research and organizes documents in accordance with project requirements

• Assists in scoping engagements/projects; Assists in managing customer expectations

Desired Skills and Experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline

5 years of related experience

ATM support knowledge -mandatory

Experience at working effectively in challenging solution implementation environments; Experience managing complex, technology projects

Experience with Windows based systems a must (need to be familiar with Windows based systems in order to understand concepts like building gold images, patch updates, system drivers, diagnostics, etc)

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Subject matter expert in store support and problem resolution

Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent analytic and problem solving skills

Proven leadership skills;

Proven consulting skills
