Job Title: Operations Officer
Job Description

The Operations Officer will supervise the security operations within the zone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide supervision and direction to subordinate staff and coordinates work flow within the major work unit.
    Implement new procedures and responds to changes in statutes and administrative policies.
    Assist in the preparation of the budget for the work unit,
    Coordinate the deployment of guards in the zone.
    Conduct periodical patrol of Beats
    Assist in the training of Security Guards
    Implement the necessary measures to resolve problems identified in operations
    Maintain discipline of Patrol Supervisors, beat supervisors and other security operatives
    Ensure information security and confidentiality at all times
    Undertake other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Minimum of 3 years relevant/ demonstrable work experience in Operations within the security industry and/ or in a related field; Ability to work both as part of a team and independently without supervision as occasion demands, and to undertake a diversity of tasks.

Job Title:  Admin/Finance Officer

Job Description

The Admin/Finance Officer is responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services in order to meet the company’s’ requirements and support area operations in the zone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for the administrative duties of the zone
    Assist with preparation of the budget for the zone.
    Implement financial policies and procedures
    Establish and maintain cash controls
    Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger
    Monitor cash reserves and investments for the zone
    Prepare and reconcile bank statements for the zone
    Establish and maintain customers’ accounts for the zone
    Process supplier invoices
    Collect and lodgement of cheques for the zone
    Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded
    Prepare income statements for the zone.
    Prepare financial reports for the zone.
    Manage petty cash and other financial transactions.
    Staff Management including Leave and Absenteeism Management
    Manage Personnel Records in the zone
    Ensure Compliance with Statutory Regulations
    Manage Staff Welfare initiatives for the zone.
    Ensure information security and confidentiality at all times

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in accounting and administration. B.Sc. Business Administration/ Management/ Accountancy/ Economics

Job Title: Patrol Supervisor

Job Description

The Patrol Supervisor will supervise the operations of guards in all locations within the zone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide supervision and direction to security operative staff within the zone.
    Assist with the implementation of security procedures.
    Prepare monthly operational reports.
    Evaluate and recommend ways of improving operations.
    Assist in posting of guards.
    Conduct daily patrol of beats to ensure that standards are maintained at all times.
    Enforce disciplinary measures.
    Monitor the attendance and incident register kept at the beats.
    Sign the Patrol Register at the beats.
    Ensure information security and confidentiality at all times.
    Undertake other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Minimum of 5 years Relevant Experience as a security guard with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    Ability to work both as part of a team and independently without supervision as occasion demands, and to undertake a diversity of tasks

Job Title:  Training Officer
Job Description

The Training Officer is responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive training package in order to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce and to fulfill the needs of the organization in the zone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assist with the establishment of an in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation or on-boarding, the measurement of training impact, and training transfer.
    Ensure Security Guards are trained within the Zone.
    Provide necessary education and materials to employees within the Zone.
    Identify training and development needs within the zone through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and the human resources department.
    Manage the delivery of training and development programs within the Zone
    Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with Supervisors.
    Assist the HR/Admin department in the recruitment of staff including Security Guards for the Zone.
    Conduct vetting and security inquiries in accordance with company’s guidelines and standards within the zone.
    Commence the processing of security clearances for prospective employees in the zone.
    Prepare vetting reports as required.
    Assist with the preparation of Budget.
    Evaluate training and development programs.
    Ensure information security and confidentiality at all times

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in security industry; HND (minimum) in Humanities/ Ex- Service Men/Women (Sergeant)
