Save the Children is looking for experienced development professionals to work within the Nigeria Country Programme.These roles will be critical for the delivery of results for children expected by this programme.

Job Title: Nutrition Programme Assistant

As a member of the SPRING Team. the Nutrition Programme Assistant will work under the direction of the SPRING/Nigeria Nutrition Advisor in the day-to-day successful implementation of the SPRING/Nigeria Project.

Qualifications:
S/he should have a degree in nutrition. health. or development; with 1-3 years’ experience working in nutrition especially in an International NGO;Strong computer skills are required;ability to work independently and manage various projects with limited supervision.

Job Title: Newborn Health Advisor

The overall aim of the position is to provide technical leadership for the implementation of the newborn health component of the Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP) atthe state level.

Qualifications:
S/he should have a minimum of medical qualification (MD or M.B.B.S.) with a post graduate qualification in Paediatrics/Midwife with Masters in public health with substantial experience in clinical,and in providing technical support to partners and in particular government; demonstrated capacity to develop a network of contacts with key players from government, international agencies and NGOs; Experience in health systems development and primary health care management; Technical expertise in newborn health. Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant​

To evaluate the impact of the ECHO project and to what extent it has been able to meet its set objectives in the 7 selected IDP camps in Borno State.

Qualifications:
S/he should have an advanced experience in the evaluation of humanitarian aid, preferably in the field of Public Health, WASH or/and Child Protection;Advanced development research qualification or equivalent, MSc preferred; Ability to conduct meetings with senior persons at government, UN and NGO level; Ability and willingness to travel to very remote areas. Must agree to work in high risk areas; Solid experience in relevant fields of work to the evaluation and in the geographic areas where the exercise takes place is also required. Expected timeframe of this consultancy is 14 days.
