Job Title: Operations Manager (Passive Maintenance)
M-P Infrastructure Limited – Nigeria

Key Responsibility

    Ensure coherent Telecommunication site maintenance
    Ensure a high quality Network experience for the end user (customer)
    Planning, scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance for all site equipment.
    Maintain the value of the MPI passive Network assets
    Provide 24-hour Operation and Maintenance of all passive Network functions

Tasks

    To plan the overall resource requirement and budget for the organization to run the cell site O&M for various operators.
    Planning, scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance for all site equipment.
    Analysis of various performance and maintenance reports in order to plan the corrective maintenance program.
    Planning refuelling schedules and fuel requirements for optimum fuel utilization at cell sites.
    Managing the NOC operations to achieve the SLA’s and MTTR as per the contract agreement.  Attending to various O&M meetings and executing the decided plans. Managing all the activities of the Health and Safety Department.
    Manage all technical, power and other passive maintenance staff in Ghana.
    Various additional services as required from time to time by Company.
    Direct and supervise Regional Managers
    Attend O&M meetings
    Ensure Company policies & procedures are adhered to.
    Identify new business opportunities with O&M
    Responsible for P&L on O&M service.

    Projects delivered on time, within budget and according to standards Able to Direct and Supervise FLM Team to achieve required response times .
    Ensure Monthly & weekly Progress Reports.
    Budget Management
    Ensure effective system support to the team
    R&D new systems, technologies & solutions

Desired Skills and Experience

    Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or electronics engineering/ Mechanical engineering and any other related field.
    A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Telecommunication Infrastructural service industry.
    Good working knowledge of the Microsoft package
    Foreign education or work experience preferable
