General Information: What are the necessary skills, knowledge and attitude a Senior ERP Developer should have?
A Senior ERP Developer must have the ability to exercise overall day-to-day control of project leaders and the resources of the program, balancing the needs for program success with the skills and capabilities of the staff. They should also be a good communicator and must interact regularly and comfortably across various departments — from individuals to the ERP Management Team in order to negotiate solutions that foster strong relationships and continued success of the project.
The Senior ERP Developer is responsible for the development of an effective planning process, for the creation of an integrated project schedule that encompasses all aspects for the ERP Program and for the actual execution in conformance to plans and the continuing update and adjustment of plans and execution to fit changing circumstances.
Implement and lead an effective project change management process that pro-actively identifies project changes and incorporates an appropriate impact analysis and approval for such changes across the ERP program team. They are responsible for creating and maintaining a monthly financial management process that incorporates actual financial performance to forecasted performance and justifies all variances; accurately forecasts expenditures in alignment with the project budget and supports the budgeting process throughout the project lifecycle. They must also follow the company’s financial processes and policies.
Actively directs the development and maintenance of plans, practices and assignments to identify, quantify and contain the occurrence and potential impact of risks and risk events on the execution of a program and its likelihood of success.
A Senior ERP Developer is responsible for making timely and effective decisions at the project level and communicating those decisions both up and down the program structure, while approaching needed decisions in a logical and thoughtful manner and weighing conflicting information.
Leadership qualities including the ability to motivate, inspire, counsel and facilitate individuals and teams to take responsibility and accountability for the goals will be an added advantage.

Job description
This position will support all ERP matters within WAMS (HR, Accounting, Finance, Operations, Logistics, Business…) with the expectation to analyze work process design and flow, improve business processes and leverage technology systems capabilities.
This position serves as a technical POC and IT liaison for assigned ERP systems and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report creation and creating and analyzing data flows to current and future technologies. It is responsible for regular communication with internal customers (mainly each Group related Entity’s Senior ERP Developer) and will need to possess the ability to translate customer requests into workable ERP updates.
This position typically works on multiple deadline driven projects at any given time.
Job Responsibilities also include:
Being the technical and functional leader of all ERP systems used within WAMS
Participate in the design and implementation of all technical and functional changes within ERP systems of WAMS
Support the centralized data reporting and analytics from all ERP solutions used per Entity (Legal, Business Intelligence…)
Complete Risk Assessments on all ERP systems (logical, organizational)
Work as Project/Implementation Director on all ERP implementations/integrations and configuration projects

Desired Skills and Experience
Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science, and/or 10 years equivalent work experience
5+ years work experience of MS Dynamics ERP solutions including development (AXapta mandatory, NAVision and GP being a must)
Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of ERP solutions.
Direct, hands-on experience with ERP systems and integrations.
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
