IITA is an international non-profit agricultural

We are recruiting to fill the vacant position of Foreman Telephone Operator

Recruitment Type: National (2-year renewable contract)

Duties
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following:

• Repair and service of staff PDA devices (Mobile Set, IPAD, TABs etc.);
• Operate telephone switch boards;
• Repair and installation of new telephone lines;
• Assist in distribution of mobile internet data and services;
• Repair and installation and maintenance of ADSL modems
• Keep records of calls placed and received;
• Monitor automated systems for placing calls and intervene when needs arises;
• Preparation of monthly payment bills for subscribers and service providers;
• Assist in following up with service providers (MTN, GLO, DSTV, etc.);
• Assist in tracking telecoms purchase and ensure they are supplied on time;
• Preparation of all telecoms purchase orders with the use of Oracle application;
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualification

• B.Sc/HND in Computer Science or related discipline with minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.

Ideal candidate must possess:

• Knowledge of computer application and hardware operations.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work odd hours.
