We are recruiting to fill the vacant position of:

Job Title: Pediatric Nurse

Location: Yola
Department: Abti Academy

Job Description

  • This position is local position and opens to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria.

Summary of Position

  • The Pediatric Nurse is charged with the responsibility of providing health and medical care for students at Abti Academy.
  • The nurse will provide expert care to the students while working with parents, teachers and the In-charge Nurse for information, direction and assistance in line with stipulated policy and procedures.

Position Requirements

  • Nursing Certificate
  • Valid License to practice/Nursing registration
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of direct work experience.
  • Basic Nursing Ethic
  • Ability to undertake self-directed tasks when necessary.
  • Flexible with time.
  • Ability to learn
  • Attention to detail.
  • Capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency.

Other Requirements, Abilities for the position

  • Skill in developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques
  • Knowledge of pharmacological agents used in the treatment of pediatrics
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette
  • Tactfulness and professionalism

Job Title: Infant & Toddler Caregivers

Location: Yola
Department: ELC/ Academy

Job Description

  • This position is local position and opens to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria.

Summary of Position

  • The Infant & Toddler Caregiver is responsible for delivering a high quality program for children; in accordance to the Centers guidelines.
  • The position is charged with the responsibility of maintaining a detailed record of each child’s progress.

Position Requirements

  • At least a SSCE /High School Certificate or its equivalent.
  • One (1) year of experience in an early childhood program serving infants and toddlers.
  • Must have (or be willing to obtain) training and experience necessary to develop consistent, stable, and supportive relationships with very young children.
  • Communicate effectively with infants, toddlers, their parents, and other staff.
  • Provide quality, nurturing care to infants and toddlers enrolled in the program.
  • Maintain effective, working relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Other Requirements, Abilities for the position

  • Demonstrate genuine and love and fondness for children
