Description 

• Asoko Insight is looking for a cutting-edge web developer who is excited to be a leader in web components.
• Asoko is a first-mover in aggregating corporate data across African growth markets. Our unique position in the emerging markets data industry provides a great opportunity for someone looking to shape the development of a game-changing information system for corporate transparency in Africa.

Requirements

• We run a lean and productive technology stack, which will naturally uses recent technology advancements. As we are looking to extract benefit from the evolving web components approach, this is a role will supports strong learning in latest web browser technologies and client side application trends.

We expect

• Best engineering practices with PR reviews, high value test coverage, CI and technical debt optimisation
• Bonus tech would include ReactJS, Web components, Jade, CoffeeScript
• The development team owns the quality of execution on top of PaaS hosting
• Enjoyable development experience!
• Experience with AngularJS or other client MV*, the HTML5 family, JQuery, AJAX and REST API’s, Bootstrap or other responsive framework, JavaScript test frameworks
