Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa – Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into programmes run by the Polytechnic in the 2016/2017 Academic Session as follows:
FULL-TIME PROGRAMMES
National Diploma (ND) Programmes
Candidates that have chosen the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa in the 2016 UTME and scored the approved minimum cut-off points in the appropriate subject combinations are eligible for post-UTME Screening of their credentials for admission.
One-Year Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) Science and Technology Programmes in:
- Chemical Engineering Technology
- Agricultural Engineering Technology
- Civil Engineering Technology
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
- Quantity Surveying
- Building Technology
- Architectural technology
- Urban and Regional Planning
- Maths and Statistics
- Science and Laboratory Technology
- Hospitality Management
- Agricultural Technology
Entry Requirements
- At least five (5) credits in the GCE O’Level, SSCE, NECO, or its equivalent in the relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language. Candidates will be required to sit and pass the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- The programme is strictly for applicants from educationally less developed States i.e. Adamawa, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Ebonyi, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara States
Mode of Application
Application forms are obtainable on the purchase of the Registration PIN (personal identification number) on Remita Platform at a non-refundable fee of five thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only for Pre-ND programmes respectively.
Candidates are to then register with the PIN on the Polytechnic portal:http://fedpolynasarawa.edu.ng and to print out their respective slips containing date and time schedule for screening.
