Purpose/Role 

  • The role of the dimension control assistant is to provide assistance to the surveyors by carrying and setting up equipment, collecting and bringing equipment from stores.
  • The assistant work alongside a surveyor to provide assistance on all types of dimensions checks. The actual assistance varies depending upon structures.

Key aims and objectives: 

  • To provide the surveyor with correct level of support to ensure accuracy in checking at all stages of fabrications.

Prime Responsibilities and Duties 

  • To understand the requirements for accuracy in the DC department, and ND as a whole.
  • To appreciate that the role of positioning and holding targets can be the key the accuracy of all electronic survey results.
  • To provide assistance to the surveyor to enable.
  • Assisting the surveyor in dimensional checking of fabricated members at both pre weld and post weld status.
  • Assisting the surveyor in dimensional checking of fabricated members when assembled into structures/frames at both pre weld and post weld status.
  • Assisting the surveyor in dimensional checking and monitoring of structure/framce integration to form completed structure at both pre weld and post weld status.

The Person: 

  • 3 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry
  • Experience of a fabrication yard environment.
  • Keen learner who can adapt to the ever changing work environment quickly.

  • Knowledge of survey instruments (EDM, Optical levels).
  • The assistant is also to be proficient in positioning targets on pre-determined marks, along with the ability to hold a tape measure accurately.
  • Correct use of surveying level staff is also required.




Job Title: Batch Plant Operator

Purpose/Role 

  • To operate batch machinery and prepare construction materials. They operate the machinery to mix, crush, segregate different ingredients like asphalt, sand, stone, naphtha etc. to produce construction material

Key Aims and Objectives 

  • Observe and follow Health & Safety Rules and Policies at all times, ensuring all other persons working in and around the batching plant do the same.

Prime Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Operate the batch machinery and set up the configuration to regulate flow of raw materials, temperature and pressure at prescribed levels
  • Make adjustments to several machinery parts like conveyors, pumps, motors, levers, shakers, agitators, pipelines etc.
  • Make certain that the machinery is cleaned and repaired regularly so as to maintain its efficiency
  • Test sample sand confirm consistency with the quality standards in respect of viscosity, acidity, texture, dryness, properties, chemical composition
  • Operate the batch machinery to heat, dry, mix, crush and carry out other manufacturing processes
  • Make certain the raw materials are mixed in proportionate quantities to ensure quality end product
  • Report of any breakdowns, mechanical issues or any other required repairs as soon as they occur
  • Weight the raw materials before production and the processed materials after production and accordingly make entries in the log book

  • Monitor; review all plant stock levels on a regular basis.

Purpose/Role
 

  • Generally assist in housekeeping and maintenance of the plant

Key Aims and Objectives 

  • Observe and follow Health & Safety Rules and Policies at all times, ensuring all other persons working in and around the batching plant do the same.

Prime Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Ensures that plant is cleaned and oiled before and after production
  • Ensures  that the plant bearings, rollers are greased and conveyor belts are replaced
  • Direct the wheel loader operator and make sure materials are loaded in their segment before and after the days job
  • Ensures that the transit mixer under plant is well positioned
  • Ensures that spills on the ground  are removed and cleaned
  • Fills aggregate hopper, refill as needed

Job Title: Technician-Equipment (CAT)

Purpose/Role
 

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactory.

Key Aims and Objectives 

  • The basic function of the CAT Technician is to install, troubleshoot, clean inspect, and maintain Caterpillars Gas and Diesel, Engines in the facility in a safe and professional manner.
  • CAT Maintenance experience in heavy industry in strongly preferred

Prime Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Monitors and maintains facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient equipment and facility operation.
  • Performs preventive and repair maintenance procedures safely and professionally with minimal supervision in accordance with Company Work Rules, Policies and Procedures.
  • Takes proactive measures to address improvement opportunities.
  • Initiates and completes work-orders and requisitions, and documents all critical and or pertinent information on a routine basis.
  • Responds and reports to work during off hours when emergency repairs are required.
  • Assumes increased levels of responsibility when required or requested. Performs lesser skilled duties when required or requested.
  • Complete the Corporate and Plant Training Programs within the time frame prescribed.

Job Title: QC Dossier Delivery Coordinator

Purpose/Role 

  • To enable adequate control of document (qc reports) flow among all parties, ensure proper/accurate collation, preparation of inspection reports, tracking and monitoring of engineering fabrication and quality processes as they pertain to the completion of final QA/QC dossier for the project

Key aims and objectives: 

  • Close monitoring/supervision of the final document phase of the project .
  • Timely compilation of dossiers for all the structures and the outfitting supports
  • Timely preparation of reports and technical information relating to qa/qc inspection within the project/ follow-up of clients with respect to sign-off of documentations
  • Process audit/review, correction, updating of technical data sheet and documentation punch list

Prime Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Preparation and updating of various document delivery dates
  • Compilation and coordination of the qa/qc release dossiers
  • Supervision and follow-up of inspection release note sign-off
  • interfaces with qa/qc welding inspectors, dimension control unit, painting inspectors and data controllers on closeout of reports and other release documentations against the final dossier compilation

  • Manage and monitor daily and periodic services provided by the electrical team and Electrical contractors to ensure activities are perform safely and meet specification and electrical standard code. Work closely within MV/LV sections to ensure a high degree of service and uninterrupted power supply.
  • Oversee the selection, induction, performance appraisal, development and training of electrical team/staff to ensure an overall increase in knowledge, experience, responsibility and individual accountability for work.

Responsibilities
Key aims and objectives: 

  • Provide electrical design, technical analysis and / or resolution of electrical problems.
  • Provide direction and coordination of electrical designs for small & medium size industrial projects.
