Job Title: Head, e-Commerce Group
Reports To: Director, Retail Business Solutions
Job Objective: Coordinates, manage and provide strategic directions for the
company’s business to business and business to customer via electronic channels.
 Responsible for the financial budget of the e-Commerce group
 Responsible for setting the strategic direction for the e-Commerce group.
 Responsible for sign-on and managing of strategic distribution partnerships
 Development of e-Commerce strategies to generate and accelerate the
sales of our products via distribution platforms and partners.
 Directly supervises the activities of the Online and Telco and devices units
 Determines, measures, and reports performance measures of the various
units.
 Responsible for the managing of staff within the e-Commerce Group
 Responsible for the sales and strategy implementation for microinsurance
 Responsible for sales through the electronic and alternative channels
 Determines, measures, and reports performance measures of various
projects and advise management from time to time
 Responsible for the planning, design and implementation of e-Commerce
solutions.
 Manage the interface with other units such as Marketing and technology to
achieve the group’s objectives
 Other functions as specified by the Divisional Director Retail Business

Required Skills and Competencies
 7 – 10 years’ experience in Financial Services, with 5 years spent in
managing a team
 Relevant first degree in any course
 Good knowledge of insurance products and financial sector in general
 Good communication skills (Oral & Written)
 Analytical and strategic planning skills
 Good understanding of financial statement analysis and reporting
 Very good selling and relationship management capabilities
 Above average understanding of information technology and applications
as it relates to e-Commerce.

Job Title: Head, Finance
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Job Objective:
 Oversight of the finance department to ensure timely and effective operation of all departmental
processes
 Maintaining accurate and reliable books of accounts for the company.
 Preparation and submission of management reports, statutory reports and remittance of
statutory deductions as at when due
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
 Preparation and submission of management and statutory reports as at when due
 Ensure all the statutory deductions are properly computed and remitted as at when
due.
 Primary management of the company’s relationships with statutory authorities (e.g.
PenCom and tax authorities), and other relevant parties (e.g. external auditors and tax
consultants), on issues pertaining to the company’s financial affairs
 Oversight and ownership of audits and examinations in relation to the company’s
financial affairs (e.g., annual audit of the company’s accounts and tax audits).
 Responsibility for reconciliation of all the company’s bank and ledger accounts
 Preparation and monitoring of the company’s annual budget in consultation with
executive management and other departmental heads.
 Authorization of ledger postings and movement of funds in and out of company
accounts
 Ensuring that approved budgets are properly implemented
 Ensuring timely and accurate posting of all the company’s financial transactions
 Responsibility for safe-keeping of all documentation and records relating to the
company’s financial transactions
 Reconciliation of all bank statements to the bank general ledger as well as other
individual general ledgers.
 Ensuring prompt review of the monthly payroll
 Expense review and authorization
 Liaising with PENCOM on reconciliation issues concerning the company’s accounts.
 Authorization of posting in Sybase to general ledger.
 Liaising with various bank account officers on any issues that have to do with
movement of funds in and out of the company’s accounts.
 Analysis and interpretation of financial data, and recommendation of changes to
improve systems and financial performance
 Providing leadership and guidance to direct reports

Required Skills and Competencies
 First degree in accounting, finance, economics, or any related discipline.
 Relevant professional qualification; e.g. ACA, ACCA.
 At least 10 years’ experience in financial management and reporting, of which at least 4
years must have been in a leadership capacity.
 Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
 Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws
 Sound writing and verbal communications skills.
 Understanding of financial techniques and business concepts and ability to express these
concepts in clear, concise instructions.
 Experience in identification and interpretation of financial issues and their consequences.
 Good negotiation and presentation skills.
 Excellent analytical skills
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
