We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Manager
Location: Guinea

Purpose

  • Controls Technical resourcing, development and management.
  • The TM is responsible for managing technical processes and engineering to ensure project success, focused on providing technical services delivery that meets client requirements in a profitable and timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Essential duties/key job roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Meet with client teams and gather technical requirements prior to engagement
  • Identify technical resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and manage software and hardware availability.
  • Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation.
  • Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases.
  • Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.
  • Responsible for ensuring all technical knowledge, processes, ad procedures are developed, and updated.
  • Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development and systems integration.
  • Responsible for the acquisition, maintenance and management of all operational tools for Technical Development and Management.
  • Provide line management for installation and commissioning resources. Conducts periodic performance reviews of team members and identify areas of improvement.
  • Provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members.
  • Provide direction and technical expertise. Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place. Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases.
  • Provide technical assessment and support during recruitment of technical hires.
  • Provide high level technical support. Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems.
  • Supporting project managers with task allocation and resource coordination.
  • Manage team communication. Conduct regular team meetings and track project progress.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education B.Sc. / H.N.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or Telecommunications. Any relevant post-graduate degree will be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 8 years working experience in engineering and telecommunication teams with 3 years at supervisory level.
  • Any relevant professional certification

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:

  • Proficient in handling the most complex of technical development concepts, excellent knowledge of Radio Access Technologies (2G, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA), Fibre Optics and Domains (Radio, Transmission, Civil and Power).
  • An appreciation of customer expectations with a customer-oriented approach to results.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, solutions design and development and the ability to understand and adapt client requirements into product solutions development and delivery.
  • Must be able to provide high level technical support. Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • Ability to manage change and effectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams for smoother execution

Job Title: Country Sales Manager

Location: Guinea

Purpose

  • Responsible for all marketing and sales strategy, processes, resources and activities to boost revenue, profitability and customer base of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Essential duties/key job roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Achieves marketing and sales operational targets and contributes country marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans, as well as new service development and existing service enhancement.
  • Defining customer satisfaction standards and implementing across country operations to drive service delivery.
  • Responsible for bidding processes with support from Sales, Technical and Finance functions.
  • Responsible for forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for accounts.
  • Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
  • Coordinate Key Account Managers in management of order-to-cash cycle, including PO Collection, Customer Acceptance and Invoicing and Payments.
  • Plan and Monitor all activities of Key Account Manager such as Client Engagement Process from bidding to payment, analyzing market strategies, etc.
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
  • Develop new customer relationships to boost sales pipeline and conversion rates.
  • Contribute to new products/solutions design, development and delivery.
  • Understand the business, its capabilities, product, and service offerings and ensures that service benefits / value propositions are available to target markets and accounts.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending “go or no-go” decisions.
  • Plan, develop and supervise the execution of strategic brand PR and media communications initiatives in country of operations.
  • Liaise with relevant units in executing cross functional projects.
  • Supervises and approve output of all team members.

Qualifications
Required Education:

  • Bachelors’ degree.
  • An MBA would be an added advantage

Required Working Experience:

  • 5 years work experience in sales and marketing with preference for a telecoms environment.

Job Title: Program Manager

Location: Guinea

Purpose

  • Has direct oversight over all projects; from planning to execution. Manages all project managers and focuses on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors and all stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities
Essential duties/key job roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for end-to-end service delivery of all operational projects
  • Responsible and accountable for direct project profit and loss, customer satisfaction and management at the clients’ head office and delegates regional client’s satisfaction and management to project managers
  • Communicate delivery progress to key client and internal stakeholders from the operational level through executive leadership
  • Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements;resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas;
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive framework that considers the various operational and service delivery components for all projects in line with customer expectations
  • Manage key stakeholders on whom project success depends; draw on resources within or outside the company as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to the project team on execution strategy, contractor management and technical requirement
  • Engage with project team, clients and sub-contractors to support project execution
  • Mentoring of key project leadership team.
  • Selects, manages and coordinate the implementation teams and 3Ps.
  • Manage the performance evaluation process of all implementation teams and 3Ps.
  • Provide feedback to Technical Manager on resource allocation and utilization and release.
  • Manage and hold the project managers accountable for quality service delivery, cost control, schedule control and PO closure in its region.
  • Provide input in the service costing process to ensure business profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with project budgetary, accounting, records management procedures
  • Support group internal auditor to keep the delivery team accountable for the service under his/her responsibility.
  • Develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
  • Develop and control project budget and resource allocation.
  • Articulates client expectations and facilitates communication between sponsor and client to guarantee customer satisfaction during projects.
  • Ensure project reporting, capturing and monitoring progress to clients and other stakeholders (e.g. Quality, Procurement, Sales, Finance and HR teams) at all phases of projects are conducted
  • Liaise with logistics manager for equipment delivery to the site.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: B.Sc. / H.N.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,Information Systems, or Telecommunications. Any relevant post-graduate degree will be an advantage.
  • Minimum Working Experience: 7 years of increasingly responsible experience,including experience successfully managing various projects. Outstanding grasp of IT
  • and Telecoms concepts and processes.
  • Required Certification(s): Any relevant professional certification, with preference for
  • PMP and Prince 2.
