Verite Microfinance Bank Limited is duly registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the Corporate Affairs Commission and licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria as a deposit-taking financial institution.

We are recruiting to fill the position beow:

Job Title: Call Centre Agent


Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve customer complaints
  • Answer customer/non customer calls, web chat and emails
  • Handle all calls as per case process, utilizing knowledge management application, CRM tool and banking platform
  • Handle customer interaction in a positive and business-like manner
  • Enter new customer information into system and update existing customer information
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary

Requirements

  • OND or equivalent
  • Must be female
  • Experience in a call centre, and/or banking environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent phone presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to deal with difficult customers/situations over the phone
  • Ability to work towards daily, weekly, monthly targets
  • Excellent time keeping skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ambitious and hungry to succeed
  • Punctual at all times
  • Vigilant listener
  • Self-motivation
  • Positive attitude
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Strong keyboard skills
  • Be able to maintain product and process knowledge
  • Desirable Skills
  • Experience of working within a Financial Services environment would advantageous but not essential.
