Role Summary

  • All activities providing the necessary support on pre- and post-contractual administration & management, Terms & Conditions of the contract and the Management of claims.
  • Also involves definition, management, and execution of risk modeling activities in support of the contract or project.
  • Also involves definition, management, and execution of contract estimating processes and activities to support tenders and project reviews.

Essential Responsibilities
The role includes ownership of the customer relationship & ability to meet internal GE objectives. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Interface with ITO and Risk teams for new customer opportunities
  • Execute contract obligations to achieve Financial Operating Plan
  • Order / track / validate Billing for major/minor maintenance parts and services requested by the customer cost or financial data collection and reconciliation.
  • Provide information and drive sales regarding the latest advancements in conversion, modification, & upgrade opportunities to owner & as well as other up selling opportunities
  • Maintain unit operating history & parts life history on commercially available software
  • Maintain record of parts (by model & serial number) currently installed in each unit
  • Develop sales plan for each Customer
  • Support customer in forced, unplanned and planned unit outages
  • Build strong partnerships within the value chain organization, which will be extremely important to deliver high quality services
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of power plant or machine driven industries

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Services or industry related experience
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Customer Contract Management
  • Turbine technology experience (minimum of 3 years)
  • Demonstrated management experience (minimum of 3 years)
  • Fluent in spoken/written English
  • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
