Job Title: Product Specialist – Mobile Games

Location: Lagos
Nature of Role: Permanent

Job Summary

  • The Specialist will manage the lifecycle of our mobileand web games assets that are accessible through content-based tools – CMS,WAP, WEB, Carrier SDP’s etc.
  • Specialist will work closely with in-house application developers/graphics designers and partner game aggregators to source, develop, package and integrate digital assets into sales and marketing tools, web, app sites and portals.
  • Product Specialist will engage with select external customers and advise on all issues related to
  • our games portfolio, from inventorying to prioritizing to marketing.Specialist will project manage source/maintenance of content and provide leadership in crafting site promotions, emailers and mobile outreach campaigns.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Game publishing management – manage all the progress to publish the game,follow up with game development schedule, game operation plan, business plan and social operation plan.
  • Manage the game revenue to match company turnover goals.
  • Manage contact with game developers and game stores.
  • Game operation data collection, maintenance and follow up.
  • Work with internal teams to plan maintenance schedules for Kurtiva owned games portal.
  • Maintain asset metadata taxonomy; own the business process of uploading, revisioning assets, applying metadata, managing permissions and content expiration.
  • Act as primary liaison between product lead and content reps. Source, index and promote content.
  • Work with channel partners to ensure that they have the best and most up-to-data assets.
  • Provide Leadership in having our content on high yielding app stores.
  • Perform monthly content audits to ensure coverage and metadata accuracy.
  • Assist in ongoing quality assurance / user experience.
  • Track and report on content metrics.

Qualification & Experience

  • BA/BS Degree with a strong academic record.
  • 2-4 years’ technology marketing and editorial experience, Experience using a content management system and managing digital assets a plus.
  • Previous work experience in a games or mobile entertainment company or the VAS unit of a Mobile carrier is a MUST.
  • Experience in scripting and programming languages (Maxscript, C# / C++, etc.) is a big plus.
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of web applications, SDK/APIs and mobile apps would be an advantage.
  • A passion for content marketing, graphics designing and content editorial process.
  • Experience with image processing tools including Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Experience using Motionbuilder as a technical artist/TD.
  • Relevant experience using 3D Studio Max in a technical art role is desirable.
  • Experience with mobile/web advertising, mobile & web marketing
  • Relevant games development experience, preferably on a AAA game.
  • Must love and enjoy gaming.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skill and ability to refine hypotheses/models by digging into user data and iteratively improving metrics.
