Job Title: Cashier

 Job Summary
The Cashier is the key driver of station financial operations. He/she is the treasury officer at the retail station. The role coordinates and oversees all cash and related monetary transactions towards the attainment of set goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure station financial procedure are operating consistently in line with ERS Standard and procedure.
  • The role ensures the highest standards are met with respect to cash and monetary related transactions.
  • He/She must declare readiness to pronounce and provide an approved individual to stand in as a financial guarantor.
  • Consistently ensures that all sales and cash operating objectives are attained consistently.
  • Responsible for the collection of sales cash from all Customer Attendant.
  • He/ She is responsible for the Collect POS merchant copy from attendants and add up/ reconcile all POS transactions with recorded sales.
  • Must collaborate with the Station Manager to ensure that operating cash re-imbursement and retirement are attained consistently in line with agreed ERS procedure.
  • Ensures all reconciliation of Customer Attendants’ cash & credit sales in the account office by taking the difference between each pump’s opening & closing meter.
  • Actively ensures timely and safely evacuation of all sales proceeds to the designated financial institution.
  • Relays reconciliation to Station Manager for onward logging on E360 and SMORs.
  • Ensure timely reporting and reconciliation of sales/expenses and cash reports.
  • Prepare relevant financial reports and carries out other duties that may be assigned by the SM.
  • Ensure effective liaison with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Protect company’s corporate image and reputation by avoiding cash exposure and protecting human and environmental integrity at the retail outlet.
  • Ensure all station personnel perform their duties in accordance with monetary related operating procedure.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

 Job Summary

The role is responsible for maintenance of all assets at the company’s retail stations. The incumbent ensures there is minimal or no disruption of station operations as a result of equipment failure. The maintenance engineer will supervise repair and upgrade activities at all ERS facilities within his/her coverage region.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure zero downtime of the company’s equipment.
  • Ensure architectural drawings are followed to ascertain layout, location and specifications of items to be installed.
  • Keep record of all maintenance activities on equipment and facilities (generator, pumps, UST’s MID, Building, gates) and issuance of job completion certificate and processing of payment.
  • Supervise all maintenance works (which includes civil, mechanical, electrical and steel works) to ensure quality of work is done as required.
  • Provide estimates for quantities of materials needed.
  • Develop maintenance strategies for installation and commissioning guidelines.
  • Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and responds to equipment faults when necessary.
  • Manage inventory of spares and substitutes to mitigate zero downtime of the company’s equipment.
  • Advise on any upgrade and changes that are needed to improve the performance of equipment and systems.
  • Evaluate and verify vendors’ performance through the review of completed projects and work techniques.
  • Act and advise on any unsafe practice or condition which may put workers or the environment at risk

EDUCATION

B.SC.  in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Job Title: Graphic Artist

Job Summary

The role is responsible for creating layouts and designs for advertisements, brochures and corporate reports. The Graphic Artist will also create visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform or captivate stakeholders.

Job Title: Operations Lead

 Job Summary

The role is responsible for end to end management of the supply chain for saleable petroleum products (PMS, DPK, AGO, Lubes and LPG). He/She is the operations process owner, implementing and reviewing systems, processes and procedures in order to drive efficiencies and performance. In addition, the role is responsible for stakeholder management (Government Agencies) on behalf of the company. The Operations Lead must work closely and efficiently with all other units within the Organization to boost outcomes of the activities of his/her team. Incumbent must also consistently display and cascade the core values of the business.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consistently Identify / deduce volumes of products required by the business in order to meet its business objectives and identify best means of sourcing these products in timely fashion mindful of expected profitability and balance sheet implications.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Team to maintain agreed levels of petroleum products at the retail stations and to all customers.
  • He/she will be responsible for managing all areas of supply operations to ensure revenues and profits are maximized
  • Responsible for Market intelligence, Regulatory and Price watch for all products
  • Responsible for statutory documentation and regulatory oil & gas license renewals with government agencies (DPR, PPMC, PEF).
  • Manage relationships with regulatory and other agencies for effective policy compliance

Other Requirements

EDUCATION
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Shipping/Logistics or Operations management.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Good relationship & stakeholder management skills
