Job Title: Marine Operations Superintendent
Location:
 FSO/FPSO, Nigeria

Job Description

  • Responsible for safety of marine operations and ensuring all procedures are complied with;
  • Reports daily to the head of Terminal and/OIM on relevant operational matters, as requested and in the required format;
  • Managing and coordinating all activities of the Contractor in conjunction with the Berthing Master and Cargo Superintendent;
  • Ensuring safe operation, loading, storage and off-loading of crude oil;
  • Ensuring that only compliant export tankers in respect of guidelines for offshore terminals are accepted;
  • Conducting safety checks on export tankers to ensure compliance with regulatory and terminal guidelines and ensuring safe operations during off- loading;
  • Safe berthing and unmooring of export tankers to the FSO (tandem) or CALM buoy;

Education & Qualifications

  • Valid STC W95
  • Valid Class 1 (Master Mariner) Certificate of Competence
  • Valid dangerous cargo endorsement (Petroleum)
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience on tankers of FPSOs, of which at least 5 years as Chief Officer or Master of VLCCs;
  • Tandem transfer operations, including pilotage and ship handling
  • Fluency in English
  • Familiarity with PTW systems
  • Pilotage and ship handling experience to open sea berths
  • BOSIET or equivalent standard offshore including HUET

Job Title: Cargo Supervisor
Location:
 FSO/FPSO, Nigeria

Job Description

  • Conducting all oil and ballast movements on the ES, including transfer of oil and waterfrom and between tanks;
  • Monitoring the transfer of cargo oil water from supply vessels;
  • Ensuring proper cargo offload operations;
  • Operating and monitoring entire marine and cargo equipment;
  • Monitoring fire and gas detection
  • Calculating gas oil and fresh water figures and reporting them to the Cargo Superintendent and MOS.
  • Standing in for cargo superintendent where required in cargo crane, on deck, and tanker operations;
  • Assisting with berthing of export tankers
  • Assisting with field logistics and supply boat operations
  • Being aware of all emergency responses and responsibilities

Education & Qualifications

  • Valid STCW95-endoresed certificate
  • Valid Class 11 (Chief Master) Certificate of Competence
  • Chief Officer with valid dangerous cargo endorsement (Petroleum)
  • Minimum 5 years experience on tankers or FPSOs, of which at least 3 years as Chief Officer or Master of VLCCs;
  • Fluency in English and basic Computer literacy

Job Title: Mooring Master
Location:
 FSO/FPSO, Nigeria

Job Description

  • Overall responsible for berthing and unberthing of export tankers attending the CALM buoy and TANDEM berthings;
  • Liaising closely with the MOS and client’s representatives;
  • Advising on effects of prevailing sea state and weather conditions on ongoing offloading operations;
  • Managing his assigned assistant on board the export tanker;
  • Maintaining records of all off-loadings;
  • Responsible for ensuring that terminal and statutory regulations are adhered to;
  • Carrying out CALM Buoy/Tandem pro offloading inspections and reporting all inspections and findings to the client
  • Inspecting all mooring equipment and floating hose and reporting all findings to the client;
  • Responsible for all materials necessary for offloading and kept on board the FSO;
  • Reporting the requirements for new equipment and replacements to the client;
  • Supervising marine operations related to maintenance on the CALM Buoy or tandem mooring/offloading hoses;
  • Acting as document controller for technical library on board the FSO and liaising with the Integrity Engineer and PHC through the site manager on relevant matters;
  • Plan and coordinate the maintenance of CALM Buoy including planning of spares and consumables, according to CALM
  • Buoy operating manual and UNISUP;
  • In charge of following up on workboat availability;
  • Remaining aware of the UNISUP stock of spares for the CALM Buoy maintenance and suggest new supplies where required
  • Assisting cargo departments with special intervention as required

Education & Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience on tankers of FPSOs, of which at least 5 years as

Job Title: Cargo Superintendent
Location:
 FSO/FPSO, Nigeria

Job Description

  • In charge of all oil and ballast movements on the unit including transfers of oil and water from tanks;
  • Ensuring that FSO permissible shear forces and bending moments are not exceeded;
  • Implementing a program of regular crude oil/water washing of cargo tanks;
  • Ensuring that water discharged overboard from the slop tanks do not exceed instructions and field authorities regulations;
  • In charge of running of the cargo system/equipment on board FSO;
  • Keeping proper records of periodic equipment tests and oil records in accordance with MARPOL regulations;
  • In charge of tank preparation for inspection, gas freeing and preparation for cleaning/demucking;
  • Ensuring the Permit to Entry is issued and valid before any entry;
  • Ensuring PTW for the cargo equipment maintenance is duly issued prior to any intervention;
  • Participating in berth training as directed by the MOS

Education & Qualifications
