Youngstars Foundation is one of Africa’s unique, life-changing youth organization operating in Abuja, Nigeria. From a weekly youth club in a local barber shop in 1995, Youngstars Foundation is growing to emerge as one of the lead youth non-profit that is building young people and strengthening youth organizations involved in development programs in Africa.

We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Title: Webmaster Paid Intern
Location: Abuja
Qualifications

  • B.Sc/HND in Computer Science or any other qualification in Computing
  • At least 2 years’ experience with proof of achievement as Webmaster
  • Must be between 21 and 35 years of age.

Job Requirements

  • Applicant must have experience in WordPress Content Management System (CMS) Development, HTML5, CSS, and PHP, JavaScript and intermediate ¬to ¬advanced skill level in at least one OO programming language.
  • Applicant will need to be competent in graphic design using Photoshop, Fireworks and Corel Draw with a constant desire to push boundaries.
  • Applicant will also be required to demonstrate outstanding organizational abilities coupled with a confident approach to communicating at varied levels.
  • Applicant will need to be an enthusiastic worker passionate about growing skills and driving new ideas and initiatives forward.

Skills Set:

  • WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, MYSQL, Photoshop, Fireworks, Corel Draw and at least one OO programming language.
  • Applicant with knowledge of Illustration have added advantage.

 

Job Title: Data Analyst Paid Intern
Location
: Abuja
Job Requirements

  • Applicant must have experience in the use Statistical Packages and intermediate to advanced skill level in at analyzing data.
  • Applicant will need to be competent in graphic design and Info graphics Presentations using Photoshop, Fireworks and Corel Draw with a constant desire to push boundaries.
  • Applicant will also be required to demonstrate outstanding organizational abilities coupled with a confident approach to communicating at varied levels.
  • Applicant will need to be an enthusiastic worker passionate about growing skills and driving new ideas and initiatives forward.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc/HND in Statistics, Mathematics or any other qualification in Computing
  • At least 2 years’ experience with proof of achievement as Data Analyst
  • Must be between 21 and 35 years of age.

Skills Set:

  • Stata, Sas, SPSS, R, Photoshop, Fireworks, Corel Draw and must have knowledge in at least one regression analysis software.
  • Applicants with knowledge of Illustrations and Infographics have added advantage.

 

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Paid Intern
Location: Abuja
Job Description

  • Shall perform the tasks of general planning, coordination and management of organization project activities with staff strength of about 30 persons.
  • Interested candidates must be able to work as assigned for 5 days a week and weekends (when necessary)
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Degree/HND in Monitoring and Evaluation or any other related Social Science discipline.
  • At least 1 – 3 years of experience in related position is a definite asset.
  • Between 21 and 35 years of age.
  • Excellent written and oral English
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of administrative procedures, policies, HR management, fundraising and resource management.
  • Ability to work in a team and in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong work ethics and personal character
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task, pay attention to details
  • Proficiency in the use of computer and social media tools
  • Willingness to travel based on job demand.
  • Knowledge of office and administrative practices and principles.
  • Knowledge and skill in accounting and budgeting procedures and techniques
