Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking to recruit an experienced Cinema Business Development Manager
  • The BDM works to improve our Cinemas market position and achieve financial growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategy with short, medium and long-term milestones for both partner and direct business against which success will be measured.
  • Engage and create new commercial business relation partnership to maximize commercial revenue and engage on creating a strong reputable brand.
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements and Implementing strategies to drive revenue and ultimately business growth.
  • Build alternative revenue streams. Identifies business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals while maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
  • Develop revenue forecasts and strategies to achieve the desired results and change tactics if current plans are not delivering results.
  • Drive commercial revenue through the various existing platforms of Onscreen, LCD and Movie guide advertising, staff branding, group booking, etc.
  • Create customer loyalty programs to retain existing customers.
  • Develop products and packages to ensure continuance in the rise of patronage in all locations.
  • Monitoring the performance of the existing product range, identifying market trends and opportunities for new product development.
  • Create a very robust Marketing Plan Strategy, coordinate activities and strategy to maximize commercial revenue and align with a commercial budget for all cinemas and amusement park locations.
  • Build a wide relationship with local media groups, Banks, Corporates, radio stations, TV, Nollywood, film distributors, BOI to allow speedy growth for the company
  • Clarifies the goals & purpose of work tasks, achieves predefined results & outcomes using ethical best practice methods and responds promptly.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Four (4) or more years experience in brand management, concept development, sales, and marketing within a similar industry
  • Professional attitude to meeting deadlines, ensuring details are handled well, and always mindful of effective resource utilization
  • Ability to manage business development for 6 cinema locations and amusement parks seamlessly.
  • Ability to proactively multitask, take initiative, prioritize workload effectively, act as a problem-solver and makes decisions.
  • Proven track records on generating revenue streams through sponsorships, partnerships, events and the backbone of corporate events
  • Strong client relationship management and development aptitude and the ability to undertake discussion and negotiations with colleagues and third-party suppliers.

 

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking to recruit Procurement Officer to promote our Cinema efficiency and effectiveness through implementation of procurement of local and international budgeted goods, works and services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review existing systems, and develop new systems to ensure best procurement practices/policies to achieve the organization’s objectives
  • Develop and submit reports to review procurement policies, procedures, and tools to keep up with Market trends and organizational changes
  • Designing and implementing an effective procurement records management, retention, and disposal program
  • Ensure storage and oversee the effective issuance of procured goods
  • Lead the development of procurement plans for all locations together with the location managers and departments.
  • Coordinating purchases requirements from the user departments.
  • Evaluation of quotes and selection of vendors
  • Receive approved Purchase Requests and prepare and dispatch Local/International purchase Orders as needed for equipment, consumables, and stationery and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Keeping track of procurement of goods and services and tenders in progress and generating status reports.
  • Receiving goods/ supplies and cross-checking with LPOs & ensuring all supplies received are as per PO and the proper working of equipment and signing delivery notes.
  • Source for the best mode of transport and ensure timely delivery to the field offices, as per their orders with administrators.
  • Overseeing the effective storage and issuance of procured goods.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Procurement or related fields from a recognized institution of higher learning.
  • Minimum three(3) year work experience as a Procurement Officer in the Cinema Industry.
  • Membership of a professional supplies management body.
  • Ability to establish supplier specifications, measure conformance and identify process improvement opportunities that are defined.
  • Ability to provide fact-based advice and development of market and industry analysis.
  • Has advanced and proven knowledge of procurement industry cost structures and drivers.
  • Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word as well as experience implementing and using procurement systems.

 

Job Title: Digital Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking to recruit a Digital Officer who will be responsible for the development of brand awareness and online reputation across all digital platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintaining website content, promoting all Cinema activities including movie releases and schedules, premieres, promos, and other information to the public on all social channels, from design to communication
  • Responsible for ensuring that the strategic direction and message of the cinema is executed consistently and properly in the social media sphere
  • Increasing social media presence, brand visibility and awareness to targeted current and potential customers
  • Engaging customers online and generating inbound traffic
  • Managing all social media activity across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat and other social platforms, creating engaging posts related to cinema schedules, thematic strands and generating buzz around screenings
  • Responsible for implementing the social media strategy, coordinating with team members to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services
  • Identify leaders and influencers (internal/external) and engage them in cinema brand activities
  • Website copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed
  • Draft weekly e-newsletters for website subscribers as well as handling email marketing
  • Set and implement a social strategy across all the brands’ social channels, including email marketing
  • Monitoring of social media sites, alerts, blogs, and clipping software for any mention of the brand or related topics; researching and coordinating the appropriate response in a timely, effective manner
  • Monitor discussions, posts, and comments across all social media channels
  • Administration of SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
  • Development of social media/engagement strategy at day-to-day, actionable level by creating short-, mediumand long-term activation plans for premieres and events

  • Monitor customer reviews, customer conversations across social media and address important mentions in real-time through engagement and/or escalation in a timely manner
  • Discover trending topics, customer needs, drive hype for upcoming releases and interests of Viva Cinemas audience across social media, adjusting content and messaging accordingly

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years experience within the retail and entertainment industry, it would be an added advantage to have cinema industry experience
  • Essential to have at least 2.5 years’ social media experience in the entertainment industry
  • An interest in marketing, communications, social media, PR and or reputation management
  • Experience in planning strategies and implementing campaigns to improve company visibility
  • Computer proficient with Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Advanced User
  • Strong understanding of social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, blogs

Job Title: Graphics Design Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Responsible for the creation and management of visual concepts, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate consumers
  • Develops the overall layout and production design for product illustration, editorials, advertisements, brochures, magazines and corporate reports within the company’s brand identity
  • Create visual versions of brands, messages, and communications
  • Work with Stakeholders to understand the scope of a project, translate their goals and ideas into design briefs and design concepts
  • Prepares for projects by doing image & comparable research
  • Brainstorms & mocks up ideas & design solutions
  • Advise stakeholders on how to communicate the message through design strategy
  • Think creatively and use innovation to produce/refine appropriate creative interactive designs/ideas and concepts based on agreed briefs and objectives within agreed timelines and quality standards

Job Requirements Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts or related field with training in graphic design
  • Essential to have at least 2 years of relevant practical experience in creating graphics for clients within the retail space
  • Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, PowerPoint & Keynote
  • Artistry and creativity, with plenty of initiative, passion, and enthusiasm for design
  • Identify and communicate creative solutions to challenges
  • Work with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD), 3D design and keeping up to date with emerging technologies/industry software
  • Time Management skills with an ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to meet up with short deadlines.
  • Open-mindedness and a willingness to accept feedback and make changes to designs.
  • Maintain a strong focus on business priorities and be persistent in follow-through.
