Job Title: Flight Loader

Location: Lagos

Role Purpose Statement

  • The job incumbent provides loading and off-loading services including loading and unloading of dishes, equipment and other related items to ensure that the items arrive at the right time at the customers location in accordance to Company standards and airlines specifications

Main Accountabilities

  • Return soiled carts, dishes, items to dishwashing section
  • Load and unload goods and airline equipment to and from the company and aircraft according to the company requirements
  • Tidy up work areas
  • Keep all required records of loading and offloading
  • Monitor excesses or shortages and report to base for necessary action
  • Perform all ad hoc duties assigned by superiors
  • Greet and provide a high level of customer service to airline, airport staff; regulatory staff and fellow employees
  • Effectively manage all complaints and ensure that processes are put in place to prevent future recurrences.

Requirement

  • 1 – 3 years driving experience.

 

Job Title: Vehicle Operator – Truck Driver

Location: Lagos

Role Purpose Statement

  • The job incumbent provides transportation services, and where and when required, loading and unloading of dishes, equipment and other related items to ensure that items arrive at the right time in the right condition at the airline in accordance to Company standards and airlines specifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure goods and airline equipment from store are collected
  • Return soil carts to dishwashing section
  • Load and unload goods and airline equipment to and from the company and aircraft according to the company requirement
  • Maintain the vehicles and their facilities in good working condition
  • Maintain all vehicles, internal and external, clean and tidy
  • Drive vehicles to outside contractor for service and checks as instructed
  • Report the damage or malfunction of the vehicles to department head if any
  • Tidy up work areas
  • Keep all required records of dispatch and delivery
  • Monitor excesses or shortages and report to base for necessary action
  • Perform all ad hoc duties assigned by Management.

Requirement

  • 1 – 3 years driving experience.

 

Job Title: General Worker – Equipment

Location: Lagos

Details

  • The job incumbent is responsible for sorting, arranging, cleaning, packing, loading and unloading equipment to ensure that equipment supplied is in the right quantity, the right quality at the right place at the right time in line with Company standards and customers specifications.

Main Accountabilities

  • Clean, pack, arrange and load equipment
  • Monitor equipment to reduce excesses and ensure proper handling of equipment
  • Maintain breakages and wastages to minimum possible level
  • Co-ordinate with production & tray setup on regular basis
  • Ensure timely achievement of tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Excellent customer service to airline, airport staff; regulatory staff and fellow employees
  • Ensure effective communication with staff and external partners

Requirements

  • Minimum of National Diploma, two years and above relevant experience

 

Job Title: Maintenance Officer

Location: Lagos

Details

  • The job incumbent maintains building systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts to ensure the smooth running of all building systems and equipment in accordance to Company standards and specifications

Main Accountabilities

  • Evaluate functionality and reliability of machinery, equipment and building systems by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements and resolving all issues
  • Maintain function and reliability of machinery, equipment and building systems by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
  • Improve function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions
  • Greet and provide excellent customer service to customers and fellow employees

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Engineering Diploma or its equivalent
  • 3 years’ work experience in a mega facility or a full-service mega hotel; and a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience working on building systems and equipment is mandatory

 

Job Title: General Catering Assistant

Location: Lagos

Details

  • The job incumbent is to help out in the kitchen and to be responsible for hygiene and cleanliness within food preparation areas according to highest standards and quality set by the Company and specifications set by the airlines

Main Accountabilities

  • Wash, peel, chop, cut and cook foodstuffs and help to prepare salads and desserts
  • Ensure chefs are equipped with foodstuff and tools they need
  • Ensure that the presentation of food is of the highest quality at all times
  • Ensure that tasks are done within deadlines
  • Ensure food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
  • Greet and provide high level customer service to customers and fellow employees

Requirements

  • Minimum of primary education; MUST be able to read and write
  • Less than 3 years experience in a similar role in a restaurant or full-service hotel or similar businesses. Knowledge and experience of air flight catering is desirable
  • Kindly note that the major criteria for shortlisting for this position is a candidate with the above relevant industry and job descriptions experiences.
