Job Title: Customer Insight Coordinator

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Seeking a research coordinator to be in charge of ensuring that all data collection, data syncing and report writing work is done in accordance with the protocols, coordinating with the Research Manager in assignment of field work duties to the Research
  • Associates and Assistants among other roles assigned form time to time.

What You Will Do

  • Preparation of maps and other data collection materials for PSR, neighborhood and all types of surveys
  • Coordinating and managing with various field teams and assist in resolving of any issues that may arise in the field
  • Identifying RA training needs and assisting to organize for the same
  • In conjunction with research manager review all the protocols to ensure they meet the current research requirements
  • Checking through maps and other available data to suggest new research areas
  • Be involved in data quality control activities both in the field and in the office
  • Provide guidance and direction to the RAs on data collection, data entry and data quality
  • Review both the quantitative data and the qualitative reports for various research activities
  • Ensure that all research reports are written in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Ensure the sharing of the necessary information generated by research with other departments that require it
  • In conjunction with research manager address any queries that are raised concerning the research reports
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of research tools, protocols and processes
  • Recognizing Bridge is a growing organization and being involved in any other research or related field

What You Should Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Demography, Anthropology, Statistics or other related Social Science field
  • Over 2 years’ experience in conducting field research in a fast paced or rapidly growing commercial organization with multiple departments where the use of technology solutions was a key strategy.
  • Experience coordinating or managing a team of staff, preferably remotely or field based
  • Experience working in slums, informal settlements and in rural areas
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel modeling
  • Experience providing guidance to data collection and data entry teams
  • Experience using Excel for data entry, data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience using statistical analysis tools (SAS, STATA and SPSS)
  • Very good at interpreting and using maps for research work
  • Experience in use of PDA, net books or other related device for research
  • Automated analysis of data to quickly identify key metrics
  • Systematized rating system for new potential plots
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self driven and able to work with very minimum supervision
  • Able to work in fast paced environment and able to prioritize work

Job Title: Project Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions
What You Will Do:

  • Support the production of adhoc analyses, data modeling and information requests
  • Ensure that information and data is captured, documented, analyzed and reported in a results-based and timely manner
  • With input from the Project Director and Program Managers, help produce high quality quarterly, mid-year and annual program progress reports as per contracting requirements
  • Provide thorough progress reporting, continuous analysis of achievements, facilitate project review, evaluation and audits
  • Ensure the maintenance of sound filing system and appropriate use and recording of all project experience, activities and results
  • Assist all components of the programme in producing and documenting all kinds of programme related reports
  • Undertake field visits to gather the information and results related to the programme
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Director as per need of the programme

Qualifications & Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the Social Sciences with a Master’s degree will be an advantage

Experience:

  • Five years relevant working experience.
  • S/he should have an extensive experience in financial analyses, communication, reporting, documentation and material preparation in relation to education and development fields.
  • S/he should possess excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills.
  • S/he should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Computer Skills:
  • S/he must be an advanced user of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Programming knowledge is a plus.

About the Role

  • We are seeking a Chief Accountant who will be a critical member of our Finance team.
  • This is a management position reporting directly to Finance Director; you will be expected to manage daily financial operations, supervise staff, build systems for solid business controls, and lead cash management and budgeting processes.

What You Will Do

  • ERP system financial management and implementation
  • Day to day management of ERP accounts and ledger activities
  • Company financial reporting and financial analysis
  • Supervision of Treasury operations
  • Internal audits and external audit preparation
  • Budgeting and cost management
  • Lead the development, implementation and improvement of accounting and financial systems through design of tools, procedures and manuals that ensure ability of the finance function to cope with scale as the business expands
  • Managing the financial aspects of Bridge’s relationship in Nigeria with DFID

What You Should Have

  • Degree in Finance and professional Accounting qualifications (CPA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Tech savvy; familiar with Microsoft Office and ERP (specifically Dynamics NAV)
  • Experience managing a team
  • Worked with sponsors such as USAID, DFID or similar organization
  • At least seven years’ experience working in Finance
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven approach to role
  • Available at all hours to attend to work matters.
