Job Title: Field Specialist – Wireline

Essential Responsibilities
- Under broad direction, receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on wellsite activities.
- Perform assembly, checking and loading necessary equipment required for one or more of the following: Tubing Conveying Perforating (TCP), Cased Hole (CH) Wireline, Open Hole (OH) Wireline or Downhole Seismic Services, (DSS).
- Work with drill crew on location to assemble and run the TCP, CH/OH Wireline or DSS equipment.
- Safety leadership throughout all areas of the job.
- Perform Risk Assessments and ensure measures are taken to minimize risk.
- Provides record of such equipment and other routine assemblies as run to the Customer Representative at the wellsite.
- Advise the Customer Representative in routine spotting and actuating such equipment.
- Drives Company vehicles in a safe manner, observing all Company and government regulations and arrives at wellsite or other designated destination at scheduled time.
- Carries out all required responsibilities safely and as described in Managing Base Operations,
- Managing Well Operations, Equipment and Logistics manuals.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Experience in Wireline Services will be an advantage

Role Summary
- BHGE has an opportunity for an Assembly, Repair, Maintenance & Overhaul Specialist to support our Wireline operations in Nigeria .
Essential Responsibilities
- May lead or supervise the field warehouse operation in a manner that provides maximum efficiency and profitability for BHGE – i.e. trouble-free equipment to customers and a safe working environment for employees.
- May serve as driver to haul equipment or chemicals to customer site.
- Supervises small operation typically with employees who receive, store, distribute and/or repair equipment or raw materials.
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year experience in a maintenance role.
Desired Characteristics:
- Knowledge of Wireline Services and customer requirements.
