Job Title: Diesel Manager

Location: Lagos

Education/Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Project Management Training / Certification
  • Relevant Postgraduate degree would be an added advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years in diesel management and revenue assurance in a telecommunication industry.
  • Specialist experience in Generator Set.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and interface with large multi-functional project teams.
  • Must possess project management experience as well as experience in process engineering.
  • Engineering background in the area of Telecommunications with Wireless Telecommunications Legislation, considered a valuable asset.
  • Knowledge of Telecommunications Legislation (Telecommunications Act, Code of Practice etc.)

Key Skills & Competencies Requirements:

  • Most possess excellent Excel/ I.T. Skills (MS Access Database would be a bonus)

Job Title: Field Support Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • Performs routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to include oil changes, lubrication, battery testing and replacement, filter replacement, tire inspection/replacement and electronic control systems adjustments and repair.
  • Maintains records and logs of completed maintenance actions to meet minimum requirements for state inspectors.
  • Respond to monitoring alarms and troubleshoots equipment during emergency power outages and scheduled equipment exercise periods.
  • Provides regular (weekly or as needed) updates including current operational and maintenance activities and issues being resolved
  • Keeps work areas free of hazardous conditions, grease or oil spills and excess supplies
  • In the maintenance of established quality standards through first line evaluation and reporting of process flows with the aim of identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Actively assist line managers in the development of team and individual quality and performance standards for front-line employees
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Team Lead to ensure the implementation of the Quality Assurance recognition program in the Online and Walk In Assistance Centre

Professional Qualifications

Job Title: IT Specialist

Location: Lagos

Duties

  • Diagnose and ascertain technology requirements; make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and systems
  • Direct research and other analysis to support IT planning; direct research on potential technology solutions
  • Develop business cases and undertake cost-benefit analyses to justify or support IT spending and initiatives.
  • Negotiate, administer and manage vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements with in conjunction with Procurement and other relevant business units
  • Manage all aspects of the IT Department including the financial purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
  • Manage the delivery or provision of a complete range of Information Technology Services covering networks, telecommunications, systems and devices, ERP etc
  • Implement IT projects and initiatives efficiently and effectively for best outcomes; approve and oversee projects and project portfolio.
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology or related field
  • Relevant postgraduate and or professional qualification would be added advantage
  • 6 years’ experience as an IT Professional. Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
