Job Title: Strategic Behavioral Change Communications Specialist

Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Description

  • Will provide support in the implementation of the overall communications strategy of AHNi with the Nigerian government and other local and international decision makers, donors, media, partners and key stakeholders in the designated state.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • BS/BA in Communication or related field and 5-7 years relevant experience in international development programs or 3- 5 years supervisory experience with MS/MA in Communication or any related field.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing large and complex SBCIBCC activities in a donor (USAID) funded national health-focused project.
  • Professional membership of relevant professional bodies such as APCON, NlPR and NlM will be an added advantage.

 

Job Title: Senior Finance & Administrative Officer

Location: Kano

Job Description

  • Will be responsible for accounting and finance and overall administration for the state office and ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of Nigerias programs/projects with the objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 yearn supervisory experience in office management and administration.
  • CPA,ACA, CAN, dMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is required.
  • Experience in managing financial records of donor-funded organizations, and familiarity with donor and local contractual procedures is an advantage.

Job Description

  • Under the supervision of the Senior Program Officer and State Cluster/LGA Coordinator (CHTB), the Program Assistant state (PA) performs functions related to planning, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of assigned tasks in the implementation of high-quality HIV/AIDS, PMTCT, RH/HIV, TB services at the and local government levels.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • B.Sc/BA in Public Health, Business Administration, Medical Sciences, Behavioral Sciences or its recognized equivalent with 1-3 years relevant experience with international development programs.

Job Title: State Deputy Director

Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Description

  • The State Deputy Director is part of the state management team for SIDHAS in Akwa Ibom state.
  • S/he reports to the State Director on the handling of project operations including budget, and overall program management in the State.
  • S/he will support the State Director to provide program oversight, design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the interventions implemented by FHI360/AHNi and its partners in the assigned State.
  • S/he is accountable for proper use of all resources entrusted to FHI 3601A1-lNl and its partners.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • MBBS/MD/PHD or similar Degree with 5-7 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 5 years’ experience with HIV/AIDS program planning and implementation at the community or state level working with public and NGO sectors.
  • Or MS/MA in social science, public health, Business Administration or related field, MPH preferred, and a minimum of 7-9 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 7 years’ experience with HIV/AIDS program planning and implementation at the community or state level working with public and NGO sectors.

Job Description

  • Provide technical support at state level to implement high quality care, treatment and support activities with primary focus on technical areas of comprehensive TB and HIV/AIDS programs including laboratory, pharmacy, logistics, prevention, care, treatment, TB, RMNCH, mitigation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • He/She will also support the Cluster Lead to provide technical leadership and engage with stakeholders and as approved, represent the organization to stakeholder events. S/he will also perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • MBBS/MD/PhD or similar degree with 1 to 3 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource constrained settings.
  • Or MPH or MS/MA in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource constrained settings.
  • Or BS/BA in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Health Sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Health or in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource constrained settings.

Job Description

  • Will provide support in the planning, implementing and monitoring of health systems strengthening and sustainability initiatives in the private sector.
  • The Technical Officer will also provide technical and programmatic support to implement high quality care and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS, Antiretroviral therapy (ART) treatment, and Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS, TB and integrated medical services in supported private sector facilities.
  • S/he will support capacity building to the health workers to implement quality services in these areas.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • MPH MBBS/MD or M.Sc/MA in relevant fields with at least 2 years post national youth service experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in the private sector.
  • Also 1-year progressive experience in supporting Health Systems Strengthening activities (such as health financing, human resource for health and or other related areas) is required.

Job Title: Technical Assistant-Health lnformatics

Job Description

  • Under the supervision of the Surge Team Lead will assist the development, implementation, supervision and data use of all AHNi’s electronic information systems at facility, community state and country office levels.
  • S/he will ensure that all electronic information systems meet intended reporting and data output requirements for donors and GoN.
  • S/he will provide technical assistance for the development and implementation of a systematic data analysis process of data outputs from the electronic information systems, carrying out advanced data analysis and preparing data analysis products for presentation and reporting.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • HND, B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Health Information Management or relevant Professional Certification in Information and Communications Technology and related disciplines, with 1 to 3 years relevant experience software development or database management.

Job Description

  • With the Cluster Lead and other members of the state team, the Technical Assistant – Comprehensive HIV and TB Programs will provide technical and programmatic support to implement high quality comprehensive HI V/AIDS programs (ART, PMTCT, TB/H IV, RH/HPI, and HTS) and other services at the state level.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • MBBS with a minimum of 1 year post national youth service experience in clinical care.
  • Or Registered Nurse/Midwife/B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
  • Or B.Sc in a related field with a minimum of 4 yearn post qualification experience.

Job Title: Surge Team Lead

Job Description

  • Provides leadership and technical support to the state office team around PMTCT, clinical care/ART and reproductive health.
  • S/he leads the design and coordinates services needed to implement high quality care PMTCT, HIV care and treatment and reproductive health/family planning services (RH/FP) both at facility and community settings.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • MB. BS/MD or similar degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years progressive experience working in the health or development field in Nigeria.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in care and treatment for HIV/AIDS especially with ARV program.
  • Possession of an MPH or postgraduate degree in a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in project development, planning and facilitating technical training.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.

 

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Bayelsa

Job Description

  • Under the direction of the Senior Accountant, the Accountant shall assume responsibility for accounting and ensure compliance with the contractual financial requirements of the organization, work with the Senior Accountant to lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, including financial status of sub-projects account activities with accompanying bank documentation and receipts.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 1 -3 years relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting related to NGOs and community level programs, with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience with large complex organization is required, familiarity with international NGOs preferred.
