Job Title: Business Reporter
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- S/he will be primarily responsible daily news and in-depth articles that focus on the business, funding and other key activities of internet startups in Nigeria and, by extension, Africa. As such, key responsibilities will include pitching, developing and producing stories on our platform.
- S/he must be capable of taking creative initiative, producing clean copy on a deadline and working both individually and as part of a team. S/he should have an innate passion for learning and getting to the bottom of things.
Requirements
- While a minimum of 2 years (online) reporting is required, no startup/tech reporting experience is necessary but will be an added advantage.
- As this is a full-time role, s/he will work from our Lagos HQ, with the editorial team, under supervision of our Editor-in-Chief.
