Job Title: Process Operator – Energy & Fluids

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Descriptions

The key purpose of the role is responsible for:

  • Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in his area of operation
  • Carry out Autonomous operations, cleaning and maintenance on machines.
  • Operate and control the process according to SOP’s
  • Ensure utilities process quality and productivity
  • Monitor and Control utilities production processes in the E&F plant on shift
  • Interpret and implement production plan for shift.
  • Operate utilities machines and equipment according to work instructions and adhere to safe working practices at all times
  • Leading the Process  monitoring function in  Utilities
  • Monitor the generation and utilisation of all utilities within the process
  • Identify and deliver initiatives to deliver step change performance improvement and process stability in order to realise true process capability understanding metering processes

Qualifications
The occupants of this position should possess:

  • Minimum of HND /B.Eng. in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or it’s equivalent
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a utilities or FMCG environment.

Job Title: Machine Specialist-Energy & Fluids

The key purpose of the role is responsible for:

  • Maintain, repair and optimize the Energy and Fluids plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards.
  • Conduct usage deployment using pareto analysis and Understanding of maintenance management information system.
  • Provide specialized technical support and enhance machines, system and process capabilities.
  • Ensure good maintenance practices are applied during maintenance days.
  • Assess proper functioning of equipment and request for repair or replacement in case of need.
  • Assess nature of repair on equipment depending on nature of defect as quick fix, replacement or major overhaul.
  • Coach artisans, apprentices and line team members in good maintenance practice.
  • Maintain, repair and optimize machines and associated devices.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment

Qualifications
The occupants of this position should possess:

  • Minimum of HND/B.Eng or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • 2-4 years experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Artisan or Technician, preferably in a Utilities or   process environment.
  • Previous experience as either a process artisan or maintenance artisan is an added advantage
