We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: VP, Growth

Location: Lagos

Details

  • The VP Growth will be responsible for making sure that we rapidly grow our community. With the target of reaching 2mn African women (up from 600k now) by 2020.

Responsibilities

  • Bring traditional and creative ideas how to grow our community across social and newsletter
  • A/B test those ideas
  • Analyze the data and users’ feedback
  • Exchange ideas/data/feedback with other departments (Product, marketing, top management) in order to present results and make the product more user-centric
  • Understand conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and hacks and being able to apply CRO hacks to any businesses.
  • Working on a lean startup process.
  • Work with the AARRR Sales Metrics Diagram (Acquisition – Activation – Retention – Referral – Revenue)
  • Prioritize growth channels
  • Scale and automate the growth processes
  • Knowledgeable about referral marketing and being able to create viral growth.

Commitment

  • Full time position

Hours of work:

  • 50 hours per week, usual working hours are from 9:00am – 6:00pm WAT.
  • There will be a requirement from time to time to start work earlier or finish later as the role dictates.

Requirements

  • Be data-driven and kind of a data-geek: clear understanding of data, analytics, metrics and statistics.
  • Be social and understanding users’ behavior. Having great customer relations skills and being focus on customer experience
  • Willing to learn.
  • Have a startup mindset.
  • Experience in A/B Testing and Data Analytics
  • Editing and copywriting skills
  • Not be scared of pivoting
  • Knowledge about both inbound and outbound marketing
  • Some programming knowledge preferred
  • Be performance and results-oriented
  • Be curious and creative
  • Be relentless in pursuit of growth
  • Have experience with growth hackings tools such as Optimizely for A/B Testing, MailChimp for email marketing campaigns, HubSpot for CRM, sales and marketing purposes, Zapier to automate workflowsIntellectual curiosity and an interest in learning new skills
