Incorporated in 2012 as a limited liability company, we have deployed various online (real-time) and stand-alone solutions in the area of education portals, eHealth & mHealth systems, web site solutions, network design/implementation, data collection using ODK, consultancy services and technical support services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketing/Sales Officer

  • The Marketing/Sales Officer will provide first-class service in order to push the sales of our products and services. Act as an intermediary between Reverton and clients/prospects. Make necessary phone calls and meetings to increase sales and also allow people to make inquiries as necessary.

Job Functions

  • Aim to maximise profits through developing sales strategies that match customer requirements and by promoting Reverton.Net products, services or ideas


  • Engages in superior customer service by making information readily available
  • Persists in sales even in the face of failure
  • Demonstrates products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management
  • Schedules appointments and meetings as necessary
  • Answers questions from clients
  • Makes product knowledge readily available to self and other sales people through various resources
  • Finds ways to sell products in the face of a down market
  • Researches client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly
  • Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them based on warranties or guarantees
  • Analyses and creates a plan for engaging the target market
  • Analyses the competition to create a plan for engagement
  • Makes product appeal to the target market
  • Trains other sales people in the art of selling
  • Makes sure that all salespeople meet quota during a given period
  • Sets up booths at trade shows and demonstrates the quality or uses of a product
  • Demonstrates superior time management skills and meets sales deadlines


  • Any other task as may be assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or any related field.
  • 3 years relevant work experience preferably from a well-structured organisation
  • Excellent verbal & written communications skills
  • Effective and Efficient Business writing skills
  • Numerate, with good finance abilities and capable of managing budgets
  • Strong forecasting and planning skills; able to correctly assess the needs of the Business
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, most practically Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Sound analytical reasoning
  • Demonstrates sound decision making & problem solving skills
