Job Title: Personal Assistant to the Group Managing Partner

Location: Lagos
Division/Department: Administration
Reports to: Group Managing Partner
Work Relationship: All Staff

Job Overview

  • The Personal Assistant is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Managing Partner by handling information requests and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings.

Essential Job Functions

  • Acting as the first point of contact and answering phone calls;
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports and correspondence;
  • Organizing and attending meetings and ensuring the MP is well prepared for meetings;
  • Maintaining executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel;
  • Documenting minutes of meetings where appropriate;
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming correspondence including emails;
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation;
  • Conducting research and developing presentations for the MP on various areas as assigned;
  • Providing Administrative support for the effective running of the Office;
  • Reminding the Managing Partner of important tasks and deadlines;
  • Ensuring necessary records are maintained that can readily provide current, accurate and accessible information;
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems;
  • Organizing events and conferences;
  • Liaising with staff, vendors and clients;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of one-year proven work experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

  • Microsoft Office Tools proficiency

Job Title: Senior Marketing Associate

Location: Lagos

Job Overview

  • The Senior Marketing Associate is responsible for creating, developing and implementing marketing plans in accordance with the Head of Marketing.
  • Also responsible for ensuring the marketing team manage the art and science of marketing to solve clients marketing needs within the determined budget.

Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinates internal marketing;
  • Manages administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly;
  • Oversees and develops marketing campaigns and proposals;
  • Conducts research and analyzes data to identify and define audiences;
  • Writes and proofreads thought leadership marketing articles;
  • Conceives develops and implements efficient and intuitive marketing strategies;
  • Creates communications and operations plans for clients;
  • Monitors progress of campaigns using various metrics and submits reports of performance;
  • Oversees the production of all marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts;
  • Performs promotional activities for clients;
  • Organizes events and product exhibitions;
  • Supervises a cross-functional team of marketers and digital marketers;
  • Attends client meetings to understand clients needs for briefs;
  • Travels to meet clients and attends conferences, workshops, trade shows, industry events, and seminars;
  • Conducts brainstorming sessions with the team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable plans in a fiscally responsible manner;
  • Monitors competitor activity and brainstorms potential improvements or changes in marketing strategy, products, or services.

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, PR or related fields.
  • A Master Degree will be an added advantage.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Member of marketing regulatory body (NIMN)
  • Knowledge of client relationship management
  • Commercial awareness
  • Experience or studies in marketing, public relations, mass communications, digital marketing or strategic consulting

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience as a marketing person in a strategic marketing firm
