Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Bank reconciliation
  • Processing of bank payments
  • Petty cash postings
  • Remittance of statutory payments- PAYE, Pension, WHT, VAT, ITF etc
  • Posting of payroll cards
  • Journal entries for retirement of advances as well as other journal postings
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

 

Job Title: Store Keeper

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Receive materials from contract, suppliers, contractors and other sites for safekeeping and issuance to end-users.
  • Check goods and materials received and ensure that they are of the required quality and quantity.
  • Issue materials to end-user after due authorization to ensure smooth flow of work on the sites.
  • Transfer materials/good from base site to other sites as may be instructed from time to time.
  • Take record of workers’ resumption and closing time on daily basis
  • Issue tools to workers on resumption and retrieve them into the store at the close of work on daily stock
  • Take inventory of stock items at regular intervals
  • Ensure that concrete does not congeal before delivery to the end users.
  • Perform any duty that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned form time to time.

 

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals
  • Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements
  • Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages and insurance
  • Effectively respond to vendor enquiries
  • Comply to policies and procedures relevant to procurement activities
  • Comply to applicable legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Remember passwords, categories of items, specific customer names, and specialized and/or frequently used supplier names
  • Keep track of goods / services ordered in order to respond to possible queries and search inventory databases to find quantities in stock, parts numbers, pigment numbers and product specifications
  • Obtain information about goods and services by speaking with suppliers, making phone calls and reading brochures and trade publications
  • Obtain information on about suppliers, regulations and standards
  • Managing and controlling all the company’s external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of Materials and finished parts for production.
  • Ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time.
  • Identify new suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates.
  • Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down external spend.
  • Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
  • Prepare reports and summarize data including sales report and book value.
  • Handling and monitoring of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
  • Support relevant departments with quotations for purchasing of goods.
  • Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products.

 

Job Title: Building Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Plan and schedule jobs for workers/artisans in order of priority.
  • Manage and follow up the daily activities on site.
  • Follow the time schedule of the project and re-plan where necessary to ensure that the project finishes on time.
  • Ability to read drawings and suggest changes where necessary.
  • To check the quality of the job performed by the workers/artisans.
  • Ensure that all workers follow the Safety policy and regulations.
  • Supervise and assist the Safety Officer.
  • Attend to clients on behalf of the Site Coordinator/Project Managers absence.
  • Follow the sub-contractors to ensure the quality of the job is as per Elalan standards.
  • Report daily activities and complaints on site to the Site Coordinator/Project Manager.
  • Singing off of requisitions of materials.
  • Calculates jobs of sub-contractors for payment.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and condition of the site environment.
  • HSE awareness.
  • Cleanliness of site.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned form time to time.

Requirement

  • Must be COREN/ CORBON Certified.
