Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Lagos
Department: Account and Finance
Reports to: Head of Account
Status: Full Time
Level: Officer

Job Brief

  • An Account Officer is responsible for the day to day accounting activities.

Responsibilities

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconciling accounts with various vendors account.
  • Organize and update financial records.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records
  • Compute, process and file payroll documents
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

Requisite Qualification

  • Candidate must have a first degree or formal training in Finance or Account
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Accounting role
  • Excellent organizing abilities.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Great numerical skills

Job Title: Technical Supervisor

Location: Lagos
Department: Engineering Support Services
Reports to: Head of Engineering Support Services

Job Brief

  • Provides technical service-related support for an organization and ensure that all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Repair malfunctioning AC and refrigerators and other cooling equipment
  • Installations of Air conditioner and cold-rooms
  • Install and maintain ventilation and refrigeration units.
  • Foster good customer relations and service at all times
  • Quality check equipment regularly to ensure everything is in working order
  • Perform peer-to-peer inspections on work performed by our other maintenance technicians
  • Create inspection and repair schedules
  • Advise purchasing manager during new equipment
  • Assist in on-the-job-training of newly hired maintenance technicians
  • Supervise all technicians

Requisite Qualification

  • Must have City and Guild Trade Test One qualification or it’s equivalent
  • Installations and repairs of large DX systems
  • Installations and repairs of central air conditioning
  • Installations and repairs of VRF units
  • Installations and repairs of industrial refrigerator equipment, cold rooms and factory refrigerator chillers.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a structured organization
  •  Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Job Title: Contract Manager

Job Brief

  • The Contract Manager is to oversee all engineering, and techno commercial operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage contract management activities and/or assigned team.
  • Execute assigned contracts in accordance with Technoton’s guidelines, the Contract Management process and general management practices in a safe and cost-effective way.
  • Prioritize actions leading to increasing client satisfaction in service delivery
  • Follow-up on client satisfaction and ensure that agreed actions are taken in the area or in the assigned responsibility area.
  • Develop understanding for organizations what is required to ensure renewals of contracts
  • Ensure Tendering documents are properly aligned with client requirements including bills of quantities considering the drawings and specifications
  • Actively participate in business development and business development support
  • Implement Contract Management action plans, processes and guidelines in the assigned responsibility area.
  • Plan, budget and manage results of the work within the scope of the contract.
  • Optimize assets such as inventories, receivables, fixed assets etc. tied to the contract and maintenance.
  • Ensure quality of work related to the contract execution.
  • Follow up financial, operative and technical performance through reviews and reporting and take corrective actions.

Requisite Qualification

  • Minimum of first degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical)/ Quantity Survey from a reputable institution or equivalent
  • Project Management skills and experience. Certification is an advantage.
  • Extensive large project experience and site mobilization
  • Experience with techno commercial issues to include tendering, contract negotiation and vendor management
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with evidence of at least three large projects related to the above in which he played a leadership role
  • Quality, health, safety and environment experience

Job Title: Commercial Officer (Quantity Surveyor)

Location: Lagos

Job Brief

  • Commercial officer is required to prepare tender documents and quotations.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works, Specifications and all contract documentation
  • Preparation of preliminary estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies
  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities considering the drawings and specifications
  • Preparation of reports on new work and work in progress for cost monitoring and control, and for decision making.
  • Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.
  • Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Site measurement for variation & valuation
  • Valuing completed work and liaising with the Finance/Account for payments.

Job Specification
Education:
