We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Feed Mill Supervisor
Location: Nassarawa
Job Description
- Formulation/production of Poultry and Pelleted Fish Feed
- Collate and analyse reports of animal eating habits
- Understand feed rations and nutritional value
- Determine performance benchmarks
- Research alternative raw product inputs
- Monitor all aspect of feed production and quality control
- Working with other key personnel to formulate feeds that meet the requirement of the respective departments.
- Assess the relative nutritional values of the aforementioned feeds
- Interpreting feed analysis
- Analysing nutritional disorders
- Ensure adherence to production standards and quality control checks on feed materials
- Maintaining awareness technical scientific developments
Qualification Requirements
- A degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal / Veterinary Science, Dietetics or any other related subject.
- Atleast 2 years post NYSC working experience in Animal Feed Production
- Technical knowledge of Feed mill machine maintenance/repairs will be an added advantage
- A professional certification in Quality Control Standards will also be an added advantage
