Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
  • Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying the provider of patient’s arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
  • Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area.
  • Registration of new patient and attaching them to their respective HMOs for treatment and billing.
  • Ensuring all private HMOs and company clients signs their bills.
  • Processing of approval codes for the patient through their respective HMOs and ensuring approval is given to consultant visitation.
  • Protects patients’ rights by maintaining the confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • University / College degree in Health Records
  • Notable working experience as a Medical Receptionist and handling of HMOs [At least 1-3 years]

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
  • Maintains records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
  • Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
  • Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions.

Requirements

  • A diploma or equivalent.
  • A pharmacy technician certification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to use a computer for day-to-day tasks.
