Job Title: Cashier

Location: Lagos

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cash management to meet daily company operations.
  • Proper Accounting posting of all payments/expenses.
  • Disburse monies to staff, vendors, contractors, suppliers, etc., after approval.
  • Daily reconciliation of cash payments.
  • Generate daily/ weekly cash reports.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field of study
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Great organizational skills, accuracy and attention to details.
  • Sound knowledge and application of MS Office suits.
  • Ability to work with an ERP software.
  • Any other task assigned to this role.

 

Job Title: Shipping Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Shipping Manager is responsible for various tasks such as packaging, verifying content for shipping, receiving packages, ordering supplies.
  • The shipping manager must always ensure timely, accurate and secure shipping and distribution.
  • A successful shipping manager is analytical, well organized and excels in communication.
  • He/She must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

Responsibilities

  • The use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders.
  • Management of all-important documents e.g. advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
  • To direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment.
  • Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders.
  • Supervise and lead subordinates and control budget of the shipping department.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree / HND.
  • A proven experience as shipping manager with solid knowledge of logistics procedures.
  • Experience in using Odoo and preparing shipping documents and computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) with a good understanding of budgeting and reporting.
  • Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to details and must be a problem solver.

 

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer

Location: Lagos

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor inflows and use confirmed payments to reduce clients’ ledger balances.
  • Generate Debtors’ Age Analysis Report.
  • Create New Client Account.
  • Update client accounts based on payment or contact information
  • Communicating with clients and customers to request and arrange payments
  • Manages customers’ payments, properly track and enter them into a database to maintain accurate records
  • Raise Credit Note where applicable.
  • Monitor invoices, ensure that invoices are generated, printed and submitted to clients regularly and promptly.
  • Manage relationships with customers.
  • Prompt collection of revenues for the company.
  • Ensuring reduction of overall debts to limit of 90 days collection period
  • Monitor and ensure credit controls implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field of study
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Great organizational skills, accuracy and attention to details.
  • Sound knowledge and application of MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work with an ERP software.
  • Collect withholding tax credit note and VAT certificates from respective clients.
  • Any other task assigned to this role.
