Oyo State Teachers And Non Teachers Massive Job Recruitment 2020

Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) was established by Oyo State Law of 1992 as an offshoot of Defunct Central Schools Board (CSB) to oversee the Recruitment and Management of Human Resource of Post Primary Schools in Oyo State. The Commission is directly responsible to the Executive Governor of the State through its Executive Chairman.

Application is invited from Oyo State indegienes and residents for the TESCOM teatears and non teachers recruitment

Following the approval on the recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff by Oyo State Government, the Post-Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) is inviting applications from suitable qualified candidates who will fill existing vacancies in the Public Secondary Schools in the disciplines outlined below:
1. English Language
2. Mathematics
3. Agricultural Science
4. Accounting
5. Yoruba Language
6. French
7. Geography
8. Basic Technology
9. History
10. Government
11. Economics
12. Physics
13. Chemistry
14. Biology
15. Computer Science
16. Physical and Health Education
17. Guidance and Counselling
18. CRK/IRS
REQUIRMENTS FOR TEACHING STAFF
Applicants must possess any or a combination of the following qualifications:
a. The National Certificate in Education (NCE)
b. Bachelor of Arts (Education) – B.A (Ed)/ Bachelor of Arts (B.A);
c. Bachelor of Science (Education) – B.Sc. (Ed)/Bachelor of Science (B.Sc);
d. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed); from recognized Institutions.
In addition, they should also possess the following:
a. Primary School Leaving Certificate/Testimonial
b. Senior Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits including English and Mathematics
c. NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate
d. Birth Certificate (the National Population Commission) or Affidavit of Declaration of Age
e. Local Government Identification
f. Evidence of Change of Name (if applicable)
Applications are also invited into non-teaching staff positions as outlined below:
a. Day/Night Watchmen
b. Clerical Officers
c. Assistant Executive Officer (General Duties)
d. Assistant Executive Officers (Accounts)
e. Secretaries/ Typists (with basic computer knowledge)
REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-TEACHING STAFF POSITIONS
a. Day/Night Watchmen
– Applicants must be mentally and physically fit with Primary Six School Leaving Certificate
b. Clerical Officers:
– Applicant must possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate/General Certificate of Education with five credits (O/L) at one sitting or six credits at two sittings in WAEC, NECO and other relevant examination bodies.
c. Assistant Executive Officers (General Duties)
– Applicant must possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate/General Certificate of Education (O/L) four (4) credits at one sitting or five (5) credits at two sittings plus National Diploma (OND) in Public Administration and Secretarial Assistant, Basic knowledge of computer skills is an added advantage.
d. Assistant Executive Officers (Accounts)
– Applicant must possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate/General Certificate of Education (O/L) four (4) credits at one sitting or five (5) credits at two sittings plus National Diploma (OND) in Financial Accounting, Basic knowledge of computer skills is an added advantage.
e. In addition to above, prospective candidates must also possess the following:
– Birth Certificate (the National Population Commission) or sworn Affidavit of Declaration of Age
– Local Government Identification
– Evidence of Change of Name (if applicable).
The period is from Tuesday, 11th February, 2020 to Monday, 24th February, 2020.
Downloaded forms should be completed and submitted to any of the TESCOM Zonal offices or the TESCOM Headquarters , Secretariat lbadan at no cost on or before Monday, 24th February, 2020. Thereafter, qualified shortlisted candidates would be invited for CBT test and interview at a date that will be announced later.
Candidates are to please note that the Teaching and Non-Teaching Forms are different.
Those applicants who have collected forms need not download the form online as double entry will automatically be cancelled.

Application forms are available from 12th 24th February, 2020 after which there will be a Computerbased test for all applicants.

All completed forms must be submitted to TESCOM Zonal Offices on or before February 24, 2020.

Completed application forms should be put in the brown envelope, labelled with your name, phone number, the subject selected and submitted to any of the TESCOM Zonal offices or the TESCOM Headquarters, Secretariat lbadan listed below at no cost.
