Job Title: Chef Assistant
Location: Rivers
Job Description
- The Chef Assistant assists the head cooks, Line cooks, managers and wait staff with various aspects of meal preparation and delivery.
- Cleaning Duties: Ensure all areas of the kitchen, food prep and food storage areas are cleaned and properly sanitized.
- Kitchen setup and breakdown: Efficient in organizing the pantry shelves.
- Basic Food prep: Arrive early to assist the Chef, organize the Kitchen and do food prep to streamline cooking and meal presentation.
- Meal presentation: Organize customers plates before the wait-staff brings the final order to the customer.
- Stock kitchen & storeroom: Work with Management and head cook to receive, stack and properly store food in the kitchen, cold storage and store rooms.
