We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities
- Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
- Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
- Diagnose breakdown problems
- Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
- Carry out quality inspections on jobs
- Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
- Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
- Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment
- Monitor and control maintenance costs
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
- Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven work experience as a Maintenance Engineer min 5 years.
- Knowledge of EPA and OSHA guidelines.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, A/C and heating systems.
- Ability to read system schematics.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
- Good communication and training skills.
Job Title: ELV Technician
Location: Abuja
Requirement
- Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent – a requirement as a minimum.
Skills:
- Strong field service skills with a proven, demonstrable track record of repairing and maintenance of the above ELV Systems and associated equipment.
- Ability to understand complex systems and possess good IT skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete technical report documentation.
- Able to foster good relations with colleagues and be a good team player.
- Able to work with minimum supervision under stringent deadlines and high pressure environment.
- Ability to communicate in English both verbal and written.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience and having good hands on installation and maintenance working experience on the following systems:
- Fire Alarm System, Public Address, Access control, IP CCTV, MATV, Security systems, Security Gates, Central Battery System, Lighting control system and associated equipment.
- In addition the experience with installation and maintenance Lighting and Power distribution will be advantageous.
- Work experience in the above similar ELV systems typically for around 7 years.
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Abuja
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar.
- Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction, M&E.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- Great networking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing M&E plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Scrutinizing material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site/project managers, clients, consultants.
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Provide advice on contractual claims
- Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Value completed work and arrange payments
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
