Job Title: Crop Farm Coordinator
Location: Oyo
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be competent to do the following:
- Direct and coordinate worker activities, such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, grading, and recordkeeping.
- Coordinate growing activities with those of engineering, equipment maintenance, packing houses, and other related departments.
- Analyse market conditions to determine acreage allocations.
- Confer with purchasers and arranges for sale of crops. (together with Operations Coordinator)
- Record information, such as production, farm management practices, and parent stock, and prepares financial and operational reports. (together with Operations Coordinator)
- Determine procedural changes in drying, grading, storage, and shipment for greater efficiency and accuracy. (together with Operations Coordinator)
- Analyse soil to determine type and quantity of fertilizer required for maximum production.
- Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Inspect orchards and fields to determine maturity dates of crops or to estimate potential crop damage from weather.
Requirement
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
Job Title: Tractor Operator
Location: Oyo
Job Description
- The primary role of the tractor operator would be to do all major and incidental acts for which tractors are deployed including ploughing, harrowing, ridging, and harvesting
- As a secondary role, the operator is expected to engage himself in other suitable farming operations in the cases where tractor-operations are not taking place.
Requirement
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
