The Kaduna State Scholarship and board are offering parents or working students an opportunity to own a computer by applying for a Computer purchase Education Loan immediately and pay gradually at an interest rate of 8%.
Loan description
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought with it a lot of disruptions in many of our daily activities including lectures. Tertiary institutions in Kaduna State are responding by continuing academic activities electronically.
Given that e-learning may dominate the Educational Delivery System going forward, the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board has introduced a Computer Purchase Loan Component to its Education Loan Scheme.
Recall that the Kaduna State Government introduced the Education Loan Scheme to enable parents to secure education loans for their children’s education. The Education Loan Scheme is in line with the State Government’s education mandate to increase access to education and reduce the population of out of school children to the barest minimum in Kaduna State.
Through the Computer Purchase Loan for students, parents, or working students can own a computer immediately and pay gradually at an interest rate of 8%.
Please note that in line with the Government’s policy, no cash will be given to the students or their parents.
