Job Title: Programs Officer

Details

  • The programs Officer is responsible for execution of the organization programs, projects and initiatives.
  • S/he manages project operations, administrations, finances, and logistics and liaises directly with other internal departments and external stakeholders to drive program implementation

Core Functions of the Program Officer will cover (But not limited to):

  • Contribute to and participate in program planning and design activities
  • Coordinate program delivery and field operations – liaising with the programs team, target audience, volunteers and other stakeholders
  • Observe, probe and troubleshoot challenges or issues affecting programs, projects, policy briefs, roundtable programs, conferences.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • First degree in any discipline from an accredited institution (Minimum of HND or a B.Sc)
  • 3-4 years post-qualification relevant experience, out of which must be 2 years experience in program execution within the development sector and 2 years experience i program execution in a non-profit organisation
  • Work experience in areas around education, health, governance and women empowerment will be an added advantage

Job Title: Marketing & Communications Manager

Job Description
The Marketing & Communications Manager coordinates all activities related to corporate communications (internal and external) and marketing initiatives; to engage stakeholders and general public; as well as enhance the organisation’s brand among target audience.

Core functions the Marketing & Communications Manager will cover (but not limited to):

  • Work with Board and Executive management to formulate a brand and corporate communication strategy that will support corporate goals and position the brand positively with critical stakeholders
  • Develop manage and control the marketing corporate and communications budget
  • Advise management on issues related to the corporate reputation and recommend appropriate responses / course of action
  • Provide technical branding support and guidance for internal ad external (public) events such as Advocacy sessions, round-table forums and conferences.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • First degree (B.Sc or HND) in any discipline from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 8 years Marketing & Communications experience
  • Professional certifications in Marketing Branding and corporate communications
  • Broad experience with implementing effective marketing branding and stakeholder management initiatives
  • Work experience in the development sector will be an added advantage

Job Title: Finance Manager

Details

  • The finance manager coordinates the finance function for the organization to achieve cost effective utilization of financial resources including outsources service provider, while overseeing accounting process through the definition and enforcement of financial standards, policies and procedures.
  • The financial manager also ensures accurate reporting of financial transaction / position to facilitate executive management financial planning and decision making process

Core Functions of the Finance Manager will cover (But not limited to):

  • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to executive management
  • Develop and utilise financial models to provide basis for investment decisions and financial planning for the organization
  • Coordinate the Treasury, investment management and key banking relationships to facilitate proper, timely and cost effective funding of programs, projects and operations
  • Develop and maintain a system of appropriate financial policies, procedures and controls to ensure efficient financial management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • First degree (B.Sc or HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years financial and accounting work experience
  • Relevant professional certifications (i.e Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1)
  • Experience in Treasury, Investment Management, Statutory Financial Reporting and IFRS

Job Title: Director of Research

Description

  • The Director of Research shapes the organisation’s research agenda to align with organisation vision and core mandate.
  • S/he leads and undertakes research within areas of focus; and generates reports, insights and publications based on research findings.

Core Functions of the Director of Research will cover (but not limited to)

  • Lead the development of the annual research agenda and activities in focus areas to address the strategic goals of the organisation
  • Create insight platforms that showcase to stakeholders, the value and relevance of the organisation’s research insight and analysis.
  • Design and implement a framework to record and report impact of program to critical stakeholders
  • Develop and embed capacity to execute short / medium / long-term research consulting projects for external institutions, government agencies and corporate organisations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Science or Research – related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience in research-related area- out of which must be;
    • 4 years of management experience in a research-oriented role
  • Relevant portfolio of research outputs and publications in reputable journals
  • Work experience in areas around Education, Health, Governance and Women Empowerment; will be added advantage.

Job Title: Director of Program

Description

  • The Director of Program oversees the development and adoption of the organisation’s various programs across its focal areas.
  • The role provides leadership and guidance to program managers, while ensuring successful implementation of all programs, in a sustainable manner with demonstrable social impact.

Core Functions of the Director of Program will cover (but not limited to)

  • Develop strategic programs: Impact-projects, policy advocacy, networking forums and intervention to achieve Board mandated goals
  • Drive execution of all programs, projects and advocacy initiatives, focused on core strategic goals / areas of the organisation
  • Lead the development of concept notes / proposals to be presented to development partners, donors and sponsors
  • Prepare periodic strategic reports on programs / projects, budget utilisation; for critical stakeholders, development partners, CEO and Board.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • First degree in any discipline from an accredited institution (minimum of HND or a BSc)
  • Post-graduate degree is preferred – in Development Sector, Social Work or other related field
  • Minimum of 15 years post-qualification relevant experience – out of which must be:
    • 4 years of senior management experience within a non-profit organisation
    • 8 years of work experience in Program Management within the Development sector
  • Work experience in areas around Education, Health, Governance and woman Empowerment; will be added advantage.
